I have been here 4 times now and love it. They have great food with their spice levels being common sense. Mild is truly mild, medium is just right. Service can be slow occasionally but it is worth it.

Very friendly and helpful workers. This was not the best Indian food I have ever had, but it was wonderful to get some Indian food in the area. The samosa were flavorful and hot. The butter chicken could have had more seasoning and spices, but the chicken in the dish was nicely seasoned. It was weird that the butter chicken didn’t come with rice. We had to order it additionally. They gave us a free dessert — delicious. Weird religious music blasting throughout the whole truck stop was off-putting. I would get carry-out in the future.

I was craving Indian food, and this was the closest spot to me. It’s located right off the freeway in a truck stop/gas station. There’s also a Mexican place and BBQ joint in the same plaza. They share a dining area with Desi Dhaba, if you choose to dine in. I chose take-out this time.
I ordered the samosas, butter chicken, and garlic naan. But they had plenty of other choices, mainly vegetable entrees to choose from including Chana Masala and Matar Paneer.
Samosas: Perfectly fried and great flavor, especially with the chutney dip, which was delicious. They had a medium spice level. I would definitely order this again.
Garlic naan: Fresh, soft and still warm when I got home. Could use a bit more garlic flavor.
Butter chicken: I ordered medium spice, and it was just the right amount of spice. Flavorful, but could use a bit more salt. Chicken was cut into perfect bite-sized pieces and not overcooked. I loved that the dish was still hot when I got home.
Overall, I enjoyed my meal and I look forward to trying more items on their menu in the future.

We stopped by for gas and foods! We LOVE Indian food and also cook! I ordered butter chicken and naan. Rice was NOT come with, so they charge extra $3.99 for just rice and naan $2.45! Butter curry was very watery and weak taste. I would NOT recommend to eat there for sure.

I’m giving this place 1 star only because I have to , in order to comment; otherwise, it would be zero stars . Don’t waste a penny here. Unfortunately, I spent over $30 on food, and I ended up throwing it all in the trash. I’d rather starve than eat here again. The food is terrible , like it was microwaved and ready to send you to the hospital.
This is, by far, the worst experience I’ve ever had with any food place / restaurant, smh

Saw this place online as I am visiting the area and there’s not a lot to choose from. Gas stations “food courts” aren’t usually my go-to, but I’m always up for Indian food. I am SO glad that I tried it! The service was really great, the samosa chaat (pictured) was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. Not to mention that I had leftovers to enjoy for dinner. Stop here if you can!

Stopped here again a couple of days later and had another great experience. (second photo) Had the samosa chaat again (it’s my favorite) and it was equally delicious. I appreciate a consistent kitchen! I also had the garlic naan this time and it was great. Again had leftovers for dinner. I really like this place!

I got chana masala with white rice and roti. flavor for the chana masala was ok I felt like it was missing something and the white rice didn’t feel fresh, the roti was good and fresh although I feel the menu is overpriced for the portion size and the menu doesn’t have a description of every item in English I think that would be very helpful for people that never had it or doesn’t know what’s every dish. I appreciate having the option in a truck stop tho because we don’t have that many tbh. Thank you!

I tried first time egg curry that was literally bad, but after service guy, he recommended me about something else. I took dal Tadka that was really so so good those people who like spicy literally I wanna just recommend to everybody if somebody wanna try something so just go on the Dubai Indian cousin everybody have a different taste so that’s why my taste was different so that’s why I didn’t like the curry so I tried the third guy is very good really very nice and the service guy is so good guy. He recommended me something else so I just wanna say that if somebody wanna try the food so just go on the Desi Dhaba Indian cousin you will get very better food than other restaurant
