They have hookahs with many yummy flavors to choose from.
The tables with a little fire pit inside are in the smoking areas, however the hookah smell is not very intense.
The atmosphere is bomb the lighting is gorgeous, music is super chill (mix of Mediterranean and American) you have a lemon tree, white and red roses were in full bloom and the owner & staff were super friendly.
Let’s talk food—everything was a vibe! The halloumi with Sojuk? Chef’s kiss. I even tried fried smelt for the first time, and it did not disappoint. The mushroom pizza was savory perfection, and the Khesh Khash was so good!
And for dessert? The Ashta with honey and pistachios was the sweetest way to end the night. They even have hookah if you’re in the mood to chill.
Highly recommend this hidden gem in Los Feliz
I got the beef shawarma sandwich after a bit of deliberation. The beef had a smoky char but alone was a little bit dry, so the tahini sauce really helped bring it back to life. It did feel a little bit greasy, though. I thought the ratio between the wrap and the contents was spot on; no notes. The salad was a pretty standard Greek salad and I think if it had feta it would’ve really elevated it.
Service is quite slow (it sounded like the kitchen and waitstaff were both extremely overwhelmed) so budget a bit of time for your trek out here. My server Eddy was SO sweet, though! He checked in on me multiple times and made sure that I had everything I needed.
Dan our server was wonderful. he was very nice and attentive to our requests. drinks and dinner for 2 we spent about $184 which included the 20% tip.
We frequent Dama, Bestia and Bar Siesta for date nights. It’s safe to say we found another restaurant to choose from for Friday date nights
