Such a tasty spot! They have a rotating vegan menu with delicious options. Their new location is spacious and has free parking and they’re paired with a great tea and herb shop too! This gem is located inside of a larger herbal apothecary … good vibes and great products all around. Leslie is super loving to her customers and prepares all food with love and light. Health conscious meals that cater to vegan etc. Cheesy Mac is off da chain! And the pesto … amazing! They even do events like coloring parties. This was one of the best lunches I’ve had in a really long time! I don’t usually seek out vegan restaurants, but I will be a regular at this great spot whenever I’m in town! The flavors were incredible, and the service was fantastic! I enjoyed sesame peanut lentils, strawberry coconut kale salad, and ½ a pineapple habanero red bean burrito. Amazing!!

I met up with a friend here. This was our first time! Overall good experience for the most part. This is a friendly vegan vegetarian small business owned cafe. The menu changes daily with fresh items. They gave me a candle for my belated birthday in beans nice touch. It’s hard to find and although there’s no indoor seating it’s in a beautiful courtyard tucked away. It’s also a little on the expensive side but you do get a lot of food for your money!

Really enjoy the food here! Clean and made with love, the staff and owner are exceptionally kind They bring a “grandma’s kitchen” type of vibe. The patio is shaded and surrounded by flowers and greenery, so beautiful! I’m from out of state and will definitely be back to have lunch here next time I’m around!

Discover an oasis. Desert Roots feels as if one has been transported to an alternate utopian universe. Several fountains greet you upon arrival. A wide variety of plants hug the walls and fences nearby creating a calming vibe. Staff is relaxed yet attentive. Food is fresh and flavorful. Try the smorgasbord or the wrap. Both will impress. This experience is simple and magic in the same moment. Well done Desert Roots!

I love this place! My boss got me a gift card for my birthday, so I decided to use it the other day. They have different options every day, which is really cool. This day, they had a mango slaw, “cheesy’ pasta, air-fried plantain chips, kale salad, and a bean salad! I couldn’t choose what I wanted (if I had chosen a couple of things, they could have been put into a wrap), so I just got a bowl of everything! It was very tasty and enjoyable, and I like the pasta the best. The service was also very nice, and the staff were incredibly friendly! I can’t wait to come back and use the rest of my gift card:)

I had the bit of everything one and it is so GOOD. I really enjoyed each one of the dishes. The turmeric hummus with refreshing cucumber slices was amazing and I don’t usually care for hummus! The atmosphere is friendly and I love the birds that visit the tree nearby. It feels healthy, nourishing, and wholesome. I would come weekly if it lived in my town.

This vegan food is so yummy and unique, with an ever changing menu, made with local and organic veggies. Some of my favorites are the cheesy sunflower mac, kale salad and green goddess potatoes made on Wednesdays. The oatmeal cookies were yummy. Housed in a cozy quiet courtyard with the sounds of water and surrounded by plants, it’s the perfect place to eat lunch. They even sell local makers items and art!
