Heavens! How have I never left a review here? It’s one of my favorite Sunday brunch places! So these are the steak frites with eggs over medium and gravy, cranberry mimosa and poppyseed cake. Mom used to make me poppyseed cake for my birthday and today happens to be my father‘s birthday so in honor of that great man I’m eating poppyseed cake! I love the atmosphere, the service and the food so you can’t go wrong. There is plenty of underground parking off of six east which is nice no matter the weather. And the servers, Charlie, Jennica, Bryce, Lici and Anthony are awesome!

It started out great! I was seated and the server was awesome. He gave me a recomendation for lunch and grabbed a beer (food was great). But that’s where it ended. Someone else dropped off the food, no one came back to see if the food was good or if I needed another beer. Then yet another person came to collect the money. For the most part the staff was just there to get a paycheck and chat with eachother. The worst part is that most servers just assume a 20% or better tip (which I left) without actually providing service. What a sad end to what seemed to started as such and an amazing experience.
Atmosphere: just feels like a chain with no character or special elements to the service scape.

Everything we had here was incredible!
Highly recommend:
– the “La playa Mexican lager” for its smooth and completely non bitter taste
– the “chocolate decadence” for its gooey soft chocolate ganache
– the “veggie burrito” for an amazingly delicious plate of vegetarian food
I don’t know why it’s rated low, since for me it’s a 5 star place for sure!

Nice atmosphere, food was good. Service was good, and prices were decent. Struggled finding the entrance. Not sure I love the lays chips they serve you but it guess it’s an easy cheap addition. But the side salads are really good on size. The tres leches cake was not good as the strawberries tasted fermented. Meaning the cake was sitting on the fridge for too long, and the enchiladas were compared to Harmon’s enchiladas. However the sandwiches were really good. I totally recommend the sirloin open sandwich and the kale salad.

Everything about the pub is inviting. If you’re a local you’ve probably seen the same awesome servers and bartenders and they most likely remember you. Food is always delicious and the beer selection is always very tasty. ❤️❤️

We came right after the pride parade, but weren’t expecting it to be busy. Unfortunately, it was a bit busier than they’re used to, but it seems like they were either understaffed or just unprepared because it took us about 40 minutes to get seated and our waiter didn’t even check on us or fill up our drinks after taking our orders. I’m sure they would’ve been better if we came on another day.
Food was good! Nothing crazy amazing, but it was solid. The chilaquiles that my wife got were insanely spicy, which the waiter did warn us about, but we were expected it to be so hot that it drowned out the flavor.
We would come back because they have a lot of options that looked good! Just an unfortunate day/time that we went I think.

Service was excellent. We were immediately seated and are glasses were kept full. We ordered the Roast Turkey sandwich and Chicken Cesar Salad. Both were good however the salad was not a Cesar. It had a lot of ingredients that are not typically in a Cesar salad like green beans, tomato’s, etc. of you are looking for a traditional Cesar salad you might want to pick something else. The unsweet ice tea was perfectly brewed.

Great find not far out of central SLC. Large floor space so our party of 6 was easily accommodated. The delicious Sunday brunch food and beverages are very affordable. My salmon with poached eggs was perfectly cooked. Impeccable and friendly service. Thanks Charlie for looking after our group. Highly recommended for a family Sunday brunch.

We have been visiting this establishment for years, especially during their Sunday brunch. They have the best Bloody Mary and Mimosa brunch prices, along with the most appetizing brunch options! This is a twice-a-month staple with us and our friends, as well as a great place to connect with family. Come try them out! The staff is awesome; friendly, and extremely knowledgeable of the food and drink options.
Every time we go to Desert Edge, the staff treats us as friends. We love it, and them!
