Nice place for a bite after hiking in the surrounding area. They serve lunch all day, have vegetarian options available:Veggie stir fry, stuffed mushrooms and you can substitute veggie patties on their burger choices as well.
They serve local craft beer as well as wine. They have a large outdoor area for private events and they have a beer festival around summertime.

We came after a hike at three sisters fall. The service was great, the burgers were so big and delicious. We also had pie and it was amazing. Great place, would definitely repeat.

Wow! Actually a really good restaurant that serves freshly made food. I didn’t know about this restaurant until we were just draving through pine valley. It’s worth the drive to go eat there even though it’s a little far east. Mainly because everything else west of it pretty much sucks.

The Jalapeño burger was one of the best things I have ever eaten. I highly recommend asking for bbq sauce with it. My gf had the veggie burger version of it and felt the same way. Service was fast too (though we were there at 4:00). This will be our new post hike spot.

If you want to go dine at a place that is a little bit off the beaten path and a bit of a unique place out in the middle of nowhere, this is it! I had breakfast here several times and it great. If you like little hole in the wall places that have a character and personality that you won’t find at any chains or in City eateries, this is a place to go. Great start if you’re going to take a trip on on the sunrise highway or if you’re just in area. Check out their venue around the back where there is outdoor seating with a stage and music on Friday and Saturday nights. They offer food and a variety of different bands that play. It’s great event for entire families , including kids. Another unique experience!

Nice alternative to the crowds at Julien, stopped here on a Sunday motorcycle ride. Only complaint was we were late in the day, so they were low on pie options People were great, the pie we did get was fine and prices were reasonable. This will probably become a regular stop for us on this ride.

Came here for dinner after spending a weekend at a retreat near Julian. This place serves good food and has a good menu. I had the salmon over rice. It was good.
