Say it is the best just was a little heavy on the sauerkraut. It still came out really good though. Also got to try the tarragon chicken salad sandwich. I thought that was better than the Reuben. Overall I am satisfied with the service and the atmosphere.

Wow Wow Wow! A friend had suggested we go to her favorite lunch spot and now I know why! The store is quaint! Filled with vinegars and all food trinkets and in the middle is a deli with great sandwiches and teas!

I love the Derby Deli! The menu has a variety of items, the portions have always been great, and I love having the option to order wine at the counter. The wine selection is what’s available in the kiosk, but they add a level of hospitality by bringing the wine to you at the table rather than you having to risk losing a coveted table by getting the glass yourself.
I’ve only ever ordered one of their massive salads, but I’ve visited with friends and every one of their orders looked amazing.
Once when the front dining room was full during a packed lunch rush, we were invited to sit at a table in a back room and it was such a fun experience the atmosphere added a level of enjoyment and it was quieter so we were really able to enjoy our conversation.
I especially love that I have never once felt rushed. I feel like I’m back in Europe when we get to draw out a leisurely lunch.

If you don’t order a piece of cake to enjoy in house, order it to go and enjoy it on your couch later. You will not regret it.

If I could leave more Stars I would. What a phenomenal place. The food, atmosphere, everything was exceptional. Sarah the manager, Tim, Jamie, everyone was so fun and personable. Truly a great place to grab a bite, get a gift or stock up on some vino. Will be back!

The BEST spot in Springfield! Everything I’ve ever had is amazing…Italian Farm or Local Goat salads, both chicken salads are favs. My husband loves the Reuben or the prime rib sandwich. Tim & the staff are wonderful, & it’s such a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We love the Derby Deli! Best Reuben in town and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Wine by the glass or bottle and half off selection to enjoy with your meal. Tim is an absolute gem, always so kind, upbeat and helpful.
