THE BEST!!! I can’t eat fried chicken anywhere else. It just does not compare to the fried chicken at Der Dutchman. We drive 1.5 hrs a few times a year to eat here. The rolls and peanut butter are out of this world. The roast and BBQ meat balls are amazing, too. The only recommendation would be to have a service to cart people to their vehicles after they eat. I leave so stuffed everytime. SOOOOOO GOOOOD!!! The views are amazing as well and the little store has all sorts of goodies. Something for everyone. BRENDA WAS OUR WAITRESS AND WAS SO NICE AND ATTENTIVE.

We came for lunch at 2pm today. Food was … ok. We both got the buffett, but no soup at the buffett..
We were charged $19.49 per person. I asked the waitress if we were charged wrong. She explained that there is only one price for the buffett whether it’s lunch or dinner – $19.49 .
For that price…. We both agreed that the food was not worth it.
If only the food was fresh and hot, they yes, we definitely would come back…

We had such a wonderful experience at Der Dutchman! We decided to go with the buffet because we just couldn’t choose — and wow, that was the best decision. To say everything was superb is honestly an understatement. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and comforting in the best way possible.
Our server, Sandy, truly made the experience even better. She was warm, welcoming, and so friendly… and did I mention funny? She kept us smiling the entire time and made us feel right at home.

The food was excellent. We have been to the one off of I-71 and the food has been disgusting, figured we would give this one a try and glad we did. Madison was our server and she was fantastic, very prompt and attentive. Atmosphere was nice nothing out of the ordinary or nothing special.

A very busy, Amish owned restaurant in Amish country. It’s a huge restaurant which was very popular with lots of people waiting, but they have good turnover rates and fast service so the wait wasn’t bad. They have lots of porch seating and rocking chairs outside while you’re waiting. The chicken pot pie we had was great and I would definitely recommend, but the pulled pork and mac and cheese were just fine. Portion sizes were huge and free bread with refills was also incredible all at a super reasonable price! Overall a very good experience!

Great, fresh buffet style, we had Annie as a waitress and service was outstanding, food is some of the best fried chicken. Also we come around 1030am for a little bit of both breakfast and lunch.
