Der Chinese am Fleet Restaurant is a nice Chinese eatery located along the street. Parking nearby can be a bit tricky, but you can usually find a spot if you look around the side streets. I dined in and ordered the fried rice, which was excellent — full of aroma, flavorful, and cooked just right. The rice grains were nicely separated, moist but not too wet, and the portion was generous enough for a satisfying meal. The price was very reasonable for the quality. The owner, who is Chinese, was friendly and polite, making the experience even better. It’s also convenient that they accept WeChat Pay for payment. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy authentic Chinese food at a fair price.

First surprise: They do not take cards. So you have to go first to a gas station ATM for some cash. The place is not big, The food was good and was about 50 Euro plus a 5 Euro ATM fee. for two. Because of the cash only service, we would not visit again.

This is one of the very few restaurants in Germany that have real “spicy food,” and it certainly did not disappoint me. We ordered 4 dishes, and all of them arrived within 20 minutes. These are all delicious, authentic Hunan style food as they are really strong-flavored and spicy. Also, the price is very justified. You are paying for what you’re getting for sure. I’d say you get more than what you pay.

Authentic Chinese restaurant in Hamburg! We drove 2 hours to get here, and it did not disappoint. In fact, we came on Friday night, and it was so good we came back again on Sat. Highly recommended if you like real Chinese food. Some are pretty spicy too.

A very laid back Chinese Sze Chuan restaurant. It’s a short walk from Hammer Kirche train station and worth the walk. The food is authentic, and the service is excellent. The dishes are mostly spicy with a few non spicy dishes for kids. The dishes we ordered were done right. Highly recommend to visit this restaurant and try the MaPo toufu and specialty steamed fish.

Updated review: The soup plastic package melts away because of other Styrofoam packages within 20 mins after we took the food from the restaurant to our home. My husband also receives some mild stomachache after eating this meal. Since then we haven’t eaten from this restaurant yet.

The restaurant is currently open for takeout and delivery from 30€. Food is prepared pretty fast, only 10-15 minutes and are well packaged.
Food in general is quite good for such a quiet area in terms of cuisine Hamm/Horn. The dish T8 is so full of umami thanks to the fermented bean sauce, which they didn’t use sparing at all. The beef is so soft and smoky thanks to the wok and onion is crunchy. Um, just mouth watering. It is said to be mild spicy, but not spicy at all (according to my taste).
On the takeout menu there is not section “C”. However we tried C9, a tofu with pork and mushroom dish in Jiachang style. It was good but a bit salty and not as mind-blowing as the T8.
The spicy-sour soup can be a delight for people who prefer sour taste. It is however not soucy at all. The rice is the only disappointment in this order as it is dry and seems to be scooped up from yesterday, which I totally understand in this Corona situation. However the grains themselves are also not fragrant and has no significant taste to it. They just simply act as a side kick for other stunning dishes here.
