Wow and YUM!!! We love this place. We’re visitors and so glad we lucked out with the Depot. My husband Mike had Mike’s ribs and they were so delicious! His Brussel sprouts were killer. And my meal the voodoo pasta was delish. We also tried the dessert and it did not disappoint. If you’re in Springfield you’ve got to check out this restaurant.

I had a wonderful lunch here with my friend. We ordered the smoked duck quesadilla with Chipotle mayo as an appetizer. It was different and interesting! The candied pecans complemented the duck and the spiciness of the mayo well.
For our meals, my friend had the grilled salmon with broccoli and sweet potato fries (served with a delicious cinnamon butter), and I had the tropical islander salad with fried chicken on the side (I’m weird like that) with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. The dressing was perfectly sweet with a slight twang, the fruit was fresh and almonds crispy. The coconut was a very nice touch. I was satisfied with the fried chicken (I’m very picky about my breading). Overall a delicious salad!
For dessert we tried the carrot cake and the Snickers ice cream cake. The presentation on both had our mouths watering. We both couldn’t finish our desserts. The snickers ice cream was so delicious. The creamy caramel and chocolate sauces, with the crunchy peanuts, atop chocolate swirl ice cream was unbeatable. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re passing through the area, or looking for a nicer sit down restaurant to meet a friend or coworker. The service was fantastic as well. We both had water with extra lemon and I love how she presented our lemons!

This place is always busy and it’s hard to get a seat but the food is worth it. Try the fried green tomatoes! I’ve been here several times and the food is consistently amazing. Enjoy!

Attracts many young adults on the weekends. Lively atmosphere, good food & if it’s your birthday (valid ID needs to be shown) they offer a complimentary desert. It’s shows up as “celeb desert” on your receipt. The Staff are kind, respectful, & know what they’re doing. If you go here, it will be crowded because they make delicious food. Please always tip your Server. Many people forget they make around $2.40 an hour & share in the labourous work of running this Restaurant. A kids menu is available, vegetarian options, daily soup, and take away options. They’re adult beverages are amazing as well. You can smell their grill from outside.

We ate lunch today at Depot Bar & Grill for the first time and had an amazing experience! The food was wonderful! We ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with a wedge salad and the patty melt with sweet potato fries. Everything came out perfect. Our server was super nice and attentive. It was very busy while we were there but that never affected our service or experience at all. I highly recommend Depot Bar & Grill and look forward to dining here again!

My wife and I had lunch for the first time here today. We arrived right at opening on a Wednesday and the staff was getting ready for lunch. Within about 30 minutes, the restaurant was full for lunch service. Service was the best we’ve had in a while. Food was amazing! We had the duck quesadilla (highly recommend), beer cheese soup and one of the biggest side salads we’ve seen. My wife enjoyed the salmon with some sweet potato fries (marshmallow sauce), and I had the catfish covered in crawfish etouffee with some onion rings. Everything was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This is the first time that I’ve been to this restaurant. It was recommended by friends, and it did not disappoint. I had the beef tails with baked potato and a side salad, and it was well worth the price. Beef was tender, juicy and plentiful and sides were not skimpy. I even had it to go box for the next days. Meal still was great. They have plenty of parking and table wait was immediate seating even though they had a good crowd that day. If you have a chance to go through this quaint little spot, stop in and also visit their downtown where they have a number of nice little stores.
