Local neighborhood pub with a pretty good kitchen. Depaula’s represents arbutus pretty well. Their burgers and chicken wings are sourced from Truths butcher in catonsville. Which means they’re great quality and local. They have a wide selection of half pound burgers and that’s what I get just about every time I go in there. Not too happy with their black and blue burger. The blue cheese was overpowering.

This place is great. It doesn’t look like much on the outside but the food is pretty amazing. Well the burgers are at least I have not eaten much else there. I love the burgers. I can not stress enough how good they are. The triple smoke is my favorite but I like the others that I have tried. The prices are extremely reasonable too. If you have the chance go ahead and stop by and try a burger.

I was so disappointed with my last order from here. Normally DePaola’s is delicious but this time the fish sandwich was completely burnt, both sides of the bread were black. It was also missing tarter sauce. Not sure if they have someone new in the kitchen or what. I also requested utensils but there was none. I’m not ordering from here again.

Don’t get me wrong, we love this place. Everything is usually delicious. But the factor amongst the cooks for carry out needs to be learnt. I can Wholeheartedly agree how a overstuffed sub would be an enticing meal for a person in dining experience. That’s a huge selling point! However when getting carry out, and the portions are so huge, that when the time you get home, it’s not even a sandwich anymore, Just a collection of food items, mostly mayonnaise, it’s extremely frustrating to have to eat a sandwich with a fork. Everything sopping with mayonnaise to the extreme.

Absolutely do not get the chicken substitution for the burger. It was lab grown meat and tasted like rubber. Then had to argue with Taylor to have it removed from the bill 3 separate times. Smelled like pee and flies all over the place. Do not waste your time or money here

This place was so so for us. Tina our bartender was nice and took good care of us. Our burger we got was super good but took a long time to get (we got the Ruben burger). The wings on the other hand sucked. I got jerk chicken wings that were bland and barely seasoned. There was literally one wing that looked like it had seasoning on it and it definitely wasn’t jerk chicken seasoning. Drinks were good but we only ordered a couple shots and draft beer.
