THE ADVENTURE QUEEN
We actually waited an hour and half and our food wasn’t correct, cold and not good. This establishment has just recently open so hopefully things will get better soon. On the day we went it look like only 2 employees were working. They drinks were served in cans at this time. The food serving size was not worth the money charged. I HOPE IF I GIVE THIS PLACE ANOTHER TRY THAT IT WILL BE A BETTER REVIEW. I always try a bad experience restaurant again just to be sure it just wasn’t a bad day ( SOMETIMES).

This was my first time visiting Denzie’s. I got a chopped beef baked potato. I asked for extra chives. Everyone was really nice. Seem like really good people! This is a nice place and I was told they have only been open a few weeks.
I was disappointed in the food. The potato was $18, so I had high hopes , but it just wasn’t enough of anything for the price. I waited about 15-20 min to get my food and it was only 1 other couple in front of me.
Stingy with the meat and all the other toppings. I had to add more butter, cheese, sour cream, sauce, and seasonings when I got home to make it taste better. I didn’t even taste much flavor in the small scoop of chopped beef on the potato. This is my honest opinion and based on my first experience it’s unlikely I will be back.

Not even sure where to start, I’m writing this still sitting in front of my plate with the whole portion of COLD brisket and a pretty much untouched “potato salad” sitting there.
Ok, so from the get go, no AC, or at least it felt that way. Then the food took a good while to come out. I won’t exaggerate and say it took forever, but it was a good while. Its important to mention because when the food did come out it literally seemed like we got YESTERDAY’S leftovers, like it was just reheated. The creamed corn tasted sour like it was from a few days ago. The brisket came out cold, like Gordon Ramsay “stone cold”. The same was for the ribs on another one our party’s plate. The meat had very little sauce, and when I asked for more I’m given a small container filled about a third of the way and was told that that was all the sauce they had left. It was maybe the amount of two ketchup packets. The “potato salad” was just instant mashed potatoes with no seasoning, no added sauces, no flavor, not even salt and pepper. The sausage was ok, but just tasted boiled and sauced. The only two things that were good were my canned Pepsi and the toast, which seemed like it was bought at Raising Cane’s. STAY AWAY, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

I tried it Saturday around 5:30. Got the $54 family meal that is supposedto feed 4 people. I was really excited because I saw a post on NextDoor where someonereallyenjoyed it. The sweet lady who took my order was one of the owners. After placing my order I had to wait 45 minutes to get my order. I was gave grace because this is their 2nd week of operation. I hate I had to ask her if she could check the status of my order. When I got the order and went home it wasn’t at all worth what I paid. The brisket was pretty good, but the chicken was very dry and was one very small peice, they gave one small sliced sausage and what was supposed to be double brisket due to them beingout of ribs and turkey. I for sides a family size baked beans and fries but it was also a very small portion of fries and they were under cooked. The beans were good and the meal camewith 3 peices of TX toast. We got sauce on the side and they gave us a container that wasnt even half full and couldn’t cover anything. So if you go here I wouldn’t recommend the family meal. They have a very good menu and the place is set up really nicely. I do realize it’s a new business so each experience may be different. So this is just my experience. Please try it for yourself though.

this was my second time going the first time. I just wanted to give it another try, but after the second time, I will not be back. Customer service was off the chain very nice people very kind but their barbecue taste like it was cooked at home frozen and then unthaw out. I still have a aftertaste that has not gone away definitely for the price it needs to improve and definitely that just taste like I just Had food cook from my uncle that was trying to get rid of family leftovers definitely not worth the price need to lower their prices and improve the quality of their food and taste their own food. It’s not good at all. I will not be back and I hate to say that cause they’re really nice good people, but they need to taste their own food and improve and be consistent their product. So sorry I cheated on you phat girls Bbq. I will be back.

WORTH A TRY. I WANT TO SEE THEM WIN. FRIENDLY OWNERS AND STAFF.
Flavor: 4
Service: 5
Portions: Needs to provide more food for the price.
Baked potato and baked beans were really good.
Peach cobbler: was pretty good. It just needs a little bit more sugar and the price or container size adjusted.
I will update my review after the next visit.

My husband went to this place tonight and ordered us both a 2 meat po boy. When he made it home we had a two meat on a hamburger bun. They were very skimpy on the sausage and brisket! Brisket was not seasoned and they added a dab of sauce. Bbq sauce was Sweet Baby Ray’s…wasn’t a good first time experience… WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!! $30 plus dollars WASTED!!!! Ugh!!!! Ten out of ten… WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

What do you order when you get to Denzies and they tell you they are sold out of everything? You say, give my anything you have left. Make me a plate! I got what was left, chopped Brisket and sausage with potatoe salad and baked beans. Let me just say, I know why they sold out. I enjoyed every last bite. Next time, I’ll be standing at the door when they open. BTW, this place is run by some of the nicest folks I’ve ever met. I’ll be back soon.

I’ve been trying different BBQs for over fifty years and that pound of brisket I just finished was by far the best! The Cook on this meat candy was perfect. No bbq sauce needed!

I was excited to eat here. Unfortunately my family and I didn’t get to eat anything at all.
First, it was 7:10pm. The restaurant closes at 8pm. No one was at the front. Another gentleman came in and we were waiting for anyone to come to the front. No one knew we were in the restaurant because the workers were in the back. When I stepped outside to call the phone number, an older gentleman came shuffling out and said, “I didn’t know anyone was here. We are getting ready to close soon.”
My husband let the gentleman who came after us ATTEMPT to place his order first because our family needed time to look at the menus.
The gentleman in front ATTEMPTS to place his order. I say attempts because the gentleman ordered a 1 meat plate and was charged for 2 meats. The older gentleman at the register looked like he didn’t know how to work the cash register. We waited another 20 minutes and the gentleman before us still had not paid.
My friend was with us and I told her, “at this rate it will be 8pm (closing time) before he even takes our order.
So after 35 minutes, my family and I decided to leave because no one had taken our order. I gave the man at the register back the menus and my family and I left. I told him we were going to leave. He looked up and said , “ok.”. He continued tinkering with the cash register trying to figure out how to take payment for the first gentleman’s order.
I can’t give a review on the food. We never got to eat. I will say, Denzies won’t be in business long with this type of poor service.
The gentleman at the cash register made no apology for the poor service or anything to attempt to make things better for a future return visit.
