I ordered an 8 pieces of whole chicken but received a box of fried bones. They were not whole piece. Looks like one thigh cut in quarters and one wing. The quality has gone downhill. It is also extremely greasy and taste like old oil. This feels like a scam. I ordered through Ubereats. Very disappointed. My first experience here 3 years ago was fine except that it took us 2 hours wait for grand opening. Now everything is just bad and cheap. I rather go to the Ktown location.

Ordered a couple of times before with no issues. Tonight whoever was a different story. First I was given the wrong order. Second order came with its own issue as well. The box of wings had sauce all over and the wings barely had sauce. More sauce on the box than on the wings. The cheesling fries came with no cheese powder on them. I guess that’s what I get for replacing my order after they missed up the first one.

I ordered here a lot. However, this is the first time they messed up, and they messed up big in my opinion. My cheeseling fries barely had cheeseling powder. I could have gotten fries elsewhere if i wanted plain ones. I ordered 8 garlic crunch chicken (8pcs), but they gave me 4. I ordered golden garlic chicken (4pcs), but they gave me 8 regular ones. I ordered to try a new flavor and gave me regular ones. I ordered 2 more items. They only got 2 out of 5 right. I called them to talk about the issue and inconsistency. Whoever I spoke to just told me to complain to Uber Eats and didn’t want to talk about it.

Finally! Korean bbQ Chicken in Bayonne. I’m accustomed to going into ktown whenever I’m craving crispy Korean Chicken. So happy I don’t have to travel for it now. I ordered through Grubhub for delivery. Delivery was fast and the food arrived hot, fresh, and smelling AMAZING! I ordered half order of the original Golden Crispy Chicken, Kimchi Fried Rice with Cheese, and Rose Ddeok-bokki with cheese. The order came with a free side of pickled radish which is a nice palette cleanser. The chicken was fresh, juicy, crispy and flavorful. Exactly what I was expecting. The sides were really good as well. The only thing missing was some Kloud Beer and Soju. I will be better prepared next time I order so that I can have the full experience. The portions are huge. There’s enough for 3 servings. I know what I’m having for lunch tomorrow! Highly recommended.

I ordered food and specifically told them I have someone allergic to scallion and spoke to them in person to not include it. And they included it anyways. When I call they only put me to a robo answer that. They poisoned my friend and won’t even reply to me.

We had signature chicken bowl and ddeokbboki. The chicken bowl served with crispy chicken and scrambled eggs on top of moistured rice with a few different sauces. Ddeokbboki was 3 out of 5 spicy but reserved its athentic taste. the price for both were reasonable.
Only thing that i did not like about the restaurant was there is no chair at all. If you want to dine in, they have a side window table where you have to eat while standing.

This was my first time ordering from any bb.q Chicken. The food takes a while to come out because I’m guessing they prepare it when you order (as in cook the chicken then). My friends always laugh at me because I remove the skin from wings before I eat them. I cannot swallow chicken skin, since I was a child; I gag. Well, this chicken skin was so crispy that I could not separate it. I bit into the wing and didn’t know skin separate from meat. Wow! I was actually able to eat the skin for the first time in my life. No gagging because I couldn’t taste the slimy skin. I was amazed! The honey garlic sauce was da bomb! And oh my goodness, a lot of fries. I will be back! Next time, I may try the Kimchi Fried Rice.

I usually come here when I want my Korean Fried chicken cravings satisfied and don’t want to drive 30 min out to get my main spot. Here’s my take:
Pros:
Really clean inside
Chicken is good
Lots of options on the menu compared to their NYC chain
Service has gotten a lot faster since open
Cons:
Relatively expensive per order compared to other Korean fried chicken places
Service speed is still a hit or miss

I think the ownership may have changed, but whatever the reason, the food just isn’t as good anymore. I’m not paying these prices for mediocre food.
The chicken was ok (not as much sauce and tasted off) , the spicy rice cakes was ok, but the kimchi fried rice was god awful.
They lost me as a customer.
