I had a great experience at this Denny’s location. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained, and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. The management truly stands out—Manager Manny is approachable, professional, and genuinely helpful. If you ever have an issue, he makes it a point to listen and ensure it’s resolved.
The wait staff provide exceptional service. Danielle, one of the waitresses, is attentive and courteous, and Bill, one of the waiters, brings great energy to the diner. He’s always knowledgeable about the menu, enjoys explaining the food and preparation process, and often shares interesting new things happening at the restaurant.
Overall, this Denny’s offers excellent service, strong leadership, and a pleasant dining environment. Highly recommended.

Only 2 tables in the restraunt, the waiter never came and checked on us or filled up our drinks. Forgot to make our coffee and milkshake until we got our food. Food was Good tasted wonderful props to the cook, but the young boy serving would rather leave and go to the gas station before making sure his tables were good. When we tried to speak to someone in charge the manager didn’t speak English. Not once did our table get checked on. And we literally watched our waiter walk to the gas station before we got our drinks

The building is a bit run down. Needs paint outside on the fascia. Women’s bathroom, no mirror, paper towel dispenser works intermittently. They hung Christmas decorations, nice.

Food was ok our waitress was great. She was very nice, friendly, and took care of us well. Now the facility was very dirty, nasty and run down. The windows and window seals were filthy. The floor needed to be mopped or deeply cleaned.

Denny’s has been a Santa Fe fixture for decades. It is a bridge between the Santa Fe of the past and the city as it now exists (for better or worse) today. Other family-style restaurants, like Carrol’s, Village Inn, and Furr’s, have disappeared and are now just memories for longtime Santa Fe residents.
This Denny’s location is a touchstone of the past, and a comforting place for many Santa Fe residents who still dine here. The food is good and consistently good for a fair price, something increasingly rare in Santa Fe, especially compared to the high-priced restaurants in the Plaza and historic district.
One thing, this location seems to be understaffed, so expect longer wait for your orders to be taken by a wait person.

I hadn’t been to this Denny’s in quite some time since I moved to another town. The sandwich I ordered was supposed to be on a brioche bun, the bun was hard and my hash browns were undercooked and cold. My mother’s plate tasted good. She ordered from the 55+ wild caught salmon, rice pilaf and mashed potatoes. That was the plate to get. As far as the atmosphere, one of the servers kept yelling at the cook in Spanish but she was cussing in between. Good thing my mom’s hearing Is bad. After all that, I went to redeem a gift card and their system wouldn’t accept it. The manager said they needed a new one.
