My order was placed at 6:42 PM and was not delivered until 8:42 PM. Fifteen minutes before receiving my order, my daughter contacted the manager, Amber, to inquire about the pickup time. Amber informed us that the order had been picked up 15 minutes prior, which raised concerns about the delay.
Upon receiving the food, we found the burgers to be soggy, the avocado brown, and the fries also soggy. This was not the quality we expected, especially considering the amount spent.
When I reached out to Amber to address these issues, I was met with an uncomfortable and unprofessional response. Her demeanor was aggressive and dismissive, leaving me feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously. I requested to speak to someone above her, but she claimed there was no one else available, effectively implying that it was my problem to deal with. Her emotional reaction made it seem as though there was no possible solution to my concerns.
Overall, my experience was frustrating and disappointing. I hope the management addresses these issues, as the quality of food and customer service needs significant improvement.
The new management clearly cares about both customers and staff. Service is fast, friendly, and attentive. The new employees are professional, hardworking, and genuinely kind. You can tell there’s better teamwork and leadership in place.
Food quality has improved as well — everything comes out fresh, hot, and exactly as ordered. It’s great to see this location thriving again.
Highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t been lately. Great job to the entire team!
I’ve visited this Denny’s a couple of times now, and unfortunately it’s always been the same experience. During my most recent visit, it took about 20 minutes for someone to take our drink and food order. After that, it took an additional 36 minutes for the food to arrive, but we still had no drinks. It ended up being almost an hour just to receive our drinks.
When the server finally brought my coffee, she nearly spilled it on me. She also forgot the creamer and straws, and my order was missing bacon. I had to ask another server to get the items we needed.
Every time I come here, something similar happens. It seems like there are very few stressed servers trying to handle too many customers, and the service suffers because of it.
This place has potential, but the service is consistently disappointing. Management really needs to address the staffing and organization.
We were on a road trip and stopped because the kids were hungry, and Denny’s has always been one of our longtime, trustworthy go‑to restaurants. At first, the service seemed fine, but that ended the moment our food arrived.
My daughter pulled a large ball of hair out of her eggs. Not a stray hair. Not an accidental strand. An actual clump of hair mixed into her food. We were horrified. I got up immediately to notify our waitress.
On the way, I passed the host stand and overheard something even more disturbing. A guest had asked to use the restroom, and a Denny’s employee told him they didn’t have restrooms for “his type.” When the guest questioned what that meant, the employee raised her voice and followed it with an even more inappropriate, discriminatory remark involving calling immigration authorities.
I was disgusted, appalled, and embarrassed that anyone representing a business would speak to another human being that way. The combination of unsanitary food and openly discriminatory behavior was beyond anything I’ve ever witnessed in a restaurant.
The only positive thing I took away from this experience was the opportunity to use it as a teaching moment for my children. About how we, as people of faith and basic decency, must never treat others, regardless of nationality, and why we cannot support companies that allow such behavior or maintain such unsanitary conditions.
I have been a lifelong Denny’s customer, but this experience was so repulsive that I will never return or spend another one of my hard‑earned dollars there.
If you’re looking for a clean, respectful place to eat and want to avoid unprofessional, inappropriate behavior, stay far away from the Denny’s in Los Lunas. This location was filthy, offensive, and downright nasty.
