While visiting South Padre during the fourth of July holiday, we needed a place to eat. It was super busy in town, streets, traffic were at a stand still, and we were hungry. Well, always stick to what you know, right? Why not stop in at Denny’s? Not disappointed at all. Immediately got seated, table service was excellent, food was served quickly and they way we had ordered it. I am very thankful to know that all worked out well and we finally got to eat. Thank you for taking care of my family while we were in town. See you guys again soon

I have to say, the service and food was exceptional. The waiter Reymundu Ramas utilized formal professional and respectful service. The food was delicious….If you are a breakfast fan, a must try is the new “Waffle Slam.”

I have no complaints. Our server MJ was great, she was very sweet and made sure we were happy. The food came out in great time, and it was very good. I had the grand slammich. My husband had hearty grain pancakes. Thank you Dennys South Padre Island.

My recent visit to the newly reopened Denny’s in South Padre Island was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The long-awaited remodel has completely transformed the place, and I was genuinely impressed by how beautiful and modernized the new environment is.
The interior is bright, clean, and welcoming, offering a contemporary yet cozy diner atmosphere. The updated seating and overall decor make for a very pleasant dining experience, a significant upgrade that was well worth the wait.
We came in for lunch and were fortunate enough to have Abel as our server. The service he provided was truly amazing. Abel was attentive, friendly, and incredibly efficient, ensuring our drinks were refilled promptly and our food order was taken accurately and delivered hot and fresh. He went above and beyond to check on us and made us feel valued as customers, which really enhanced our meal. The food itself was delicious and prepared just right, a perfect complement to the great atmosphere and service.
It’s clear that the management and staff at this location have put a lot of effort into improving the customer experience. If you haven’t been in a while, I highly recommend giving this location another try. We will definitely be back soon!

We had Priscilla Rivas as our server and she was so great!! We had a party of 5 adults and 2 kids, with a mix of native Spanish and english speakers and she was able to speak comfortably with all of us in both English and Spanish!
