I want to take a moment to recognize the positive change at this Denny’s now that Joel has returned to the team. When Joel was previously moved or reassigned, it left a noticeable gap in the restaurant. During that time, there was a high turnover of staff, orders weren’t always placed on time, and the menu often had items unavailable. While the servers were doing their best, the inconsistency was evident, and we gradually cut back our visits.
Seeing Joel back is truly a pleasure. His professionalism, consistency, and genuine rapport with customers immediately uplift the entire atmosphere of the restaurant. The vibe has already improved, and his return reminds us that great dining experiences are built not just on food, but also on relationships and trust.
Joel is an outstanding team member—an invaluable asset who clearly makes a lasting impact on both the staff and the customers. His presence is a strong message to management and ownership about the importance of retaining quality individuals. Because of Joel’s return, we are excited to come back as regulars again. He is truly priceless to this location.

Man.. I eat at IHOP from now on.. the hash browns were hard and I just left them. They had a lot of burned ones. The toast is a joke.. the edges were so hard. I had to spit them out becuase they were hard to chew. And the steak…. Man…. Well I asked for med. well and came well done… wish it had some grilled onions.. yeah waitress never came back to ask for refill of drinks.. I guess just becuase it was water. Won’t eat here… sorry.

These were my “beef nachos”. They tasted like chili on top of chips nothing like queso or nachos. The boneless wings weren’t cooked all the way and my son’s hash-browns were barely cooked even after sending them back. I haven’t been to Dennys in years and I will probably never go to one again.

Went for breakfast this morning and was greeted warmly as soon as I entered.
Quick seating and friendly staff.
Friendly service and great recommendations when asked. Had no issues, coffee was hot and perfect for this cold weather, as well as my pancakes. Can’t complain will come again!

My husband and I walked into Dennys, we were greated by Javier with a smile..he was our waiter, very attentive to our needs. We noticed several young employees, but they were very quick and very helpful. Highly recommend this location. We live in Harlingen, came to eat after a memorial service, good choice

food was great!! service was amazing thank you to our waitress rosie, she was very sweet and attentive and recommended me the bourbon chicken skillet. the portion was a good amount had to take the rest home! the bourbon sause is very tasty would definitely recommend, will be coming back to this location! we also loved the christmas decorations!

I’m very disappointed with my recent visit. After being seated, we were clearly passed over while other tables who arrived after us were served first. We sat for quite some time without anyone coming to take our drink order. When I asked about it, I was told to “be patient,” which felt dismissive rather than helpful.
When our server finally came, she forgot my water, and I had to remind her. Throughout the experience, she was not friendly or welcoming. To make matters worse, the food arrived cold.
Overall, the service made us feel overlooked and unwelcome. Everyone deserves attentive and respectful treatment when dining out. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both service and food quality.

It was Jessica’s first day taking orders. She was so friendly. She did a great job. Mya is teaching her well. They both were ver attentive.

I felt there was too much stuffed into it and not enough cheese on mine. The onion rings were perfect.

Quick seating, friendly host, No Milk for chocolate milk or shake, i joked i should have went to taco palenque, and host said yea, you should have laughing, jokingly. Recieved all American slam quick. Got it and eggs hot, toast hot, sausage cold, bacon cold and hashbrowns undercooked and crunchy. Seems like they make the bacon and sausage in bulk and let it sit until somebody orders, thay then is cold upon service.
Silverware looked dirty, and had to wipe off residue and clean. All I hear is laughing out loud in the back and as if it’s just like a good old time. Employees ate supposed to be working, maybe cleaning up the dirty tables, sweep the floors, clean the restroom as it seems dirty, perhaps cook Hot food and buy some milk to provide customers.
