Great service for Christmas day! I can’t remember our server’s name but she was outstanding. Super fun. The manager seemed stressed. Never let your team or customers see that you are stressed. Ordered chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and side salad…not bad for Christmas dinner!

Our server L’Kia was very pleasant. Went out of her way to serve us. She is a rare find in the service industry today. I applaud her. I hope her manager recognizes how fortunate Denny’s is to have her. The food was delicious. Hats off the the kitchen staff also. Very clean. This Denny’s gets my vote for the best Denny’s I’ve every been too.

The service was prompt and we really enjoyed the food but, guess who else enjoyed the food and atmosphere; the roaches!! My spidey senses were in overdrive, and it felt like I was being watched from my side. I looked up and from beneath a void in the wooden trim cap on the floating partition, a nice medium size black roach came crawling out and decided to personally make sure we were eating properly. This particular roach was such a good size, our server even saw it from almost ten feet away.
Our server notified her manager who then fed me some lame excuse about the roach tail coating a former patron of the restaurant, and then the manager offered to show us a well doctored pest control log that was kept in the office. (LMAO!!) If you’ve ever worked in the food industry you know how these things go.
We moved to another table, we refused the discount coupons that were offered. We even paid the full tab and left shortly afterwards. Use your own processing abilities when choosing this place, and make sure to pay attention to voids in the wood trim.

Cleanliness 4/5. Great rating at 99.5. Overall restaurant appeared clean with no debris or food mess on tables or the floor.
Price 4/5. Fair and tolerable. Not sure why I’m given a receipt and asked to tip when I’m getting my meal to-go and not being served. Pet peeve of mine.
Quality 3/5. Pretty great omelette! Stuffed full of whole mushrooms, ham chunks, minced green pepper and onions… just like I wanted!
Service 5/5. The hostess was awesome at collecting our order correctly and getting us the distinct half&half flavors we asked for.

I usually have great service at this Denny’s, especially from waitresses like Lisa and another young lady who are always friendly, attentive, and impressively efficient — they can memorize multiple orders and still get everything right with a smile.
Unfortunately, today’s experience was the exact opposite. My family was served by a nasty attitude waitress named CHEYENNE, and from the moment we were seated, it was downhill. Despite writing the orders down, she still managed to get them wrong. Worse, her attitude was dismissive and rude. She ignored simple requests from my family and was slow to check in or respond to our table’s needs.
The most shocking part was how she started clearing the table and grabbing silverware right in front of us before we had even finished — no courtesy, no patience. Her behavior was unprofessional and left a bad taste, ruining what should have been a pleasant family meal.
People like her have no business working in customer service. If this had been my first visit, I honestly wouldn’t come back. Denny’s needs to seriously evaluate how someone with such a poor attitude is representing their brand and CHEYENNE needs to take her and her nasty attitude somewhere else

This visit was disappointing. My husband, nephew and I went late on this particular night, maybe 9:45, 10:00. They were short staffed I’m guessing so service was very slow. We waited over an hour and a half for food. The waitress was nice and tried to accommodate us as much as possible. She was very kind and patient. However the food was very bland and cold when we received it. And we had a couple of additional “diners” at our booth. It was a late night visit when we went I was told a manager wasn’t available. I also tried to call to speak to a manager but never got a call back. It’s a shame; we’re a fan of Dennys and the Battleboro location closed, so I guess I’ll have to travel to Virgina the next time.

Truly a favorite of mine and a community favorite-easily accessible off I-85 Henderson NC. I enjoy a good old fashioned southern favorite breakfast anytime day or night.Crispy bacon,soft scrambled cheesy eggs, hash browns, pancakes is my favorite meal. The service is usually good- despite a skeleton staff at times. Even though a chain, this eatery has a more Mom & Pop feel. Also, on occasion I have the stew beef which is a generous serving with sides. The menu options off something for most everyone- at fairly reasonable prices. This is a family oriented diner – covid protocol in place
