I was in Clearfield for a while visiting family and heard about Denny’s, so after checking out the menu online, had to check it out. I was so happy I did!
My family and I got there a little late in the evening and the place was pretty full. There wasn’t a table large enough to seat our group right away, but the waitress was very accommodating and offered to seat most of us in a booth and two of us at a small, side table facing the bar. We let our 13 and 10 year old boys sit by themselves at the small table (which they loved, said they felt like grownups), while the rest of us took the booth. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, perfect for a cold PA night. The menu is pretty expansive and I was extremely impressed with my burger. To start, we ordered fried pickles and cheese sticks. Both were wonderful and freshly fried. For my meal, I ordered the Roland’s Rockhouse Burger, named after Alone season 7 winner, Roland Welker, who is a local. The burger was big, flavorful, and definitely hit the spot! I ordered tater tots as my side and I think the mound of hot and crispy tots was half my plate. My boys each got an elk burger and said it was very good. Everything we had was top notch and the service was attentive and welcoming. I highly advise anyone passing through the Clearfield, PA area to swing by Denny’s!

Said to myself, you’re in PA, and by not find a cheesesteak for a meal. A colleague of mine recommended this place, was nearby and made a stop.
Was greater by Hannah who made sure my experience is pleasant.
Ordered appetizer “breaded mushrooms and a soft drink” while waited for my cheesesteak sandwich to arrive.
Hannah brought this huge thing and wished me well, from the first glance, I was in shock, it was huge and I was sure I won’t be able to finish it.
To my surprise, a bite after another, devoured the delicious beast in no time. Was full of meet, cheese and all the other goodness. It was a late lunch for me, so I was not able to have dinner later on that day.
I’m going back again to try their burger for sure. I’ve also heard of a burger challenge they offer, which I’m certain I won’t attempt. If that was the size of my sandwich, I don’t doubt the challenge burger is a size that may feed a town lol.

Really the best burgers around. Went there on Friday night. The parking lot was packed. We actually got the last open table yet we had drinks in front of us within 7-8 minutes and food within 20 minutes. My Paterno burger was amazing and my wife loved her fish. The table next to us had salads, definitely what I’m getting next time. Servers were so busy but extremely nice and did there jobs very well.

Seated & waited on very quickly about 530-6 on a Friday. . My 3 fish tacos were good but they were really stingy with the filling. A couple TBS each, some less than others. Even more slaw if the meat’s too expensive would have made them look more presentable & better value for the price (abt $15). Had a lot of tortilla left after the good stuff was gone. My bfs sandwich was good– and large. It needed cut to eat so he had to go get a knife as no silverware. The house made chips are excellent. I wish they’d put the shepherds pie back on the menu.

We always try to support local businesses…..unfortunately we will never patronize Dennies Beer Barrel Pub again. Picked up our meal on a snowy night, should of checked before we left the restaurant. Medium burger burnt (hockey puck burnt) , chips over salted and chicken tenders over cooked. Unfortunately tossed in the trash!

Fun restaurant! Very upbeat, busy, loud atmosphere. Seating isn’t great, lots of high top tables with wood barstool chairs and no backs on them. There are low tables but not as many so options are limited. Service was just average, waitress was a bit overwhelmed and not overly friendly. Just way to busy I think. A group near us had two people doing a timed burger challenge so that got the attention. Got a good picture of the burger though! We ordered wings and a burger with a side of onion rings. Food was delicious! My burger was seasoned great and the wings were cooked perfectly. Onion rings were really good and not greasy, so that is a big perk.

@DIESELANDMO here social media influencers who travel the country and WOW!! DID THIS PLACE TOTALLY NAIL IT. Hannah was the best server, friendly, knowledgeable, great suggestions. As an appetizer we got fried pickles & the pretzels. Our entree was the Mac & Jack burger with homemade chips & the Goodfella Pizzah Burger with sweet potato waffle fries. It was so insanely delicious, we can’t wait to go back! Next time is the burger challenge!!

Looking for an amazing atmosphere to hang out, have some great wings and burgers while throwing a couple beers or drinks back. Or to just eat and have a good time. This is the place. Food is great, drinks are priced well and the atmosphere is hard to not enjoy. Oh and if your really hungry and want to take on a burger challenge. Look no further. A staple and must stop at if your passing or stopping for the night.
