My mom chose to have lunch here for her 89th birthday. My parents were looking forward to the $11.99 steak dinner when they got an advertisement in the mail recently. They said they weren’t participating in that. So they chose a hot turkey meal. They were out of that. My husband chose a breakfast with the country potatoes. He received the shredded. His English muffin came when he was halfway through his meal. I chose the 8 oz. sirloin, medium rare. The steak was practically raw, the potatoes cold, and the broccoli was mushy. Not a good experience at all. Also, the glass entry doors, both the exterior ones and the interior ones, looked like they had just been wiped down with grease. We heard they recently got a new manager. Our server was a sweet young lady and she did provide us good service.

Dennys is a unique place in that the food is hit or miss and that’s between menu items versus who is cooking. It’s 24/7 which is great however that does draw a lot of crazy characters. I have really enjoyed the employees there, and met some great people. If you want a cheap meal the value menu can’t be beat… especially since at 3am nobody is open. They have wifi if I recall. There are no customer available outlets, but there’s a bathroom that’s always clean and available when necessary.
I have gotten the value burger and fries, the value slam (basic breakfast) and I got the club sandwich with fries this last time. The value menu items are enough food for me so I shouldn’t wander; however, I got the club. It was enormous. So much meat in it. I had a hard time squashing it down to fit in my mouth. I didn’t finish a half and only 1/3 the fries. (Fries are always hot crispy and good) I took the other half to go but it barely fit in the container. I had to press down to get it to snap closed. Very good IMHO. Thank you to the staff for your patience and good service.
BTW sometimes I go in to use the bathroom or just sit warm up and get some water and they don’t complain, but they do know I’m a courteous customer. I’m sure they’d be like that to anyone if they are behaving and courteous.

Food was delicious and the menu offerings were extensive!!! Dining area was clean & tables cleaned nicely. Waitress was kind, but fatigued and brusque.
The only thing out of line was the nicely tiled floors in the hall and the bathrooms looked like they needed a good scrubbing!!! Not just a quick mop! Prices were about average.

Every time I try to enjoy Dennys, it always goes wrong. The waitress was very disrespectful. There were no pickles on my son’s burger. My hash browns were so cold, they were inedible. I am going to stop giving this Dennys second chances. Service and food are terrible. And yes, we left a penny as a symbol of how we were treated. Do not recommend this Dennys to anyone.

Came in for NY breakfast and am so grateful that they’re open even on the 1st of Jan. We ordered the coffee, Denver omelette and the Strawberry stuffed French toast.
The French toast didn’t look like what it was in the pictures on the menu and was covered in strawberry syrup (very sad about this because the menu doesn’t mention syrup and I’m not a fan). And the omelette we got was a steak omelette instead of the Denver . My husband still ate it and said it was generally ok.
Service was mostly alright but our waitress kept forgetting parts of the order – although I can’t blame her, I’d probably not be too pleased working in New Years.

The food was mediocre, the staff was constantly bickering. Our server was complaining the whole time about how employees had quit and they were understaffed and she couldn’t get a hold of a manager for help. There were literally three employees working the entire restaurant. It took over an hour to get our food. Overall just a poor experience. Definitely could tell it was a poorly managed and operated Denny’s. I have been to a lot of Denny’s restaurants all over the country and this one was by far the worst experience.
