This Denny’s on 10th Street in Marysville, CA was an absolute disaster. The restaurant was a complete ghost town when I walked in—no customers at all, which should’ve been my first warning.

I tried calling in my order and was trapped in an automated phone system with no way to reach an actual person. The system quoted almost $28 for one person, which is absurd for Denny’s. On top of that, I was told to expect a 15–20 minute wait for pickup.

When I finally got my food, the order was wrong—duplicate items I didn’t need and one item missing entirely. Then I had to wait another 10 minutes while they fixed it. No urgency, no apology, no accountability.

Overpriced, poorly managed, and terrible customer service. This place clearly doesn’t care about accuracy or customers.

Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else. I do NOT recommend this location.

Me and some friends there was 6 of us we went out for dinner about 11pm or so the hostess made us wait forever and didn’t even greet us mind u she wasn’t doing anything then we ordered our food took over 30 minute to take our drink order and food order which she proceeded to get everything wrong and had an attitude but what really but icing on this cake was when she brought our food out on Tupperware lids I’d never had this happen before I don’t know what we did we were extremely nice and well mannered to the woman I’d if it was a race thing but what few other table were there was with white people and our table was majority Mexican and Asian minus me the waitress also never checked on us once in the hour or so we were there and was talking loudly and rudely about us to her coworker.

I love that every year they do the no kids hungry fundraiser I think it is such a great thoughtful thing to do!!

New to the area, my family have been wanting to go to Denny’s, so I finally broke down and we went..
Soon as walking in the door there was a weird smell, though maybe cleaning supplies (not sure).
We were told to find a seat by the waitress, we sat waited about 5 minutes before she came to ask us about drinks. ( No menu given) About another 5 minutes passed and finally got a menu and high chair for my son, ( highchair was dirty and seat buckle didn’t work).. we finally ordered our food and the fries on the appetizer plater and a funny taste along with the onion rings, the boneless chicken wings were covered in buffalo sauce so none of us could eat them..
We ordered 2 sandwiches with the fries, half way through I noticed there was jelly on my plate, however none of us used jelly, mention it to the waitress and she said it was from another kitchen order prior to mine.. then asked if I wanted it replaced.. I declined a remake.. she then went to the cook and was whispering to him which was very awkward as if maybe the plate was not washed properly before my food was put on it .
The restaurant was not busy at all.. so the service i thought would of been better..
The t- bone steak we ordered was pink and did not get eaten either..
The whole experience was awful in my opinion, and usually I don’t give bad reviews however after a $110 dollar bill for 4 people and 1 child ( kids eat free) I feel like the service could of been better as we were unable to eat the majority of the food in-between the taste and smell of the restaurant..

My wife and I, Just ate at the Marysville California location. Very good service and the cook Jason did an excellent job cooking our food. Stopped going because of the service and food.
I would try once in awhile never been impressed. Tonight is the best experience I ever had. Hope to visit more and hopefully have same experience.

Eggs were bad. Got sick but everything else was fine. Been here several times and everything was great till now. I’ll never eat at this restaurant again after getting sick. Hope they improve the quality for the rest of the patrons. But it all came up. $20 wasted.

We went for dinner this evening and I would like to give ‘Thanks to Jason M.’, Our waiter, ‘Exceptional service’ he is Definitely set apart. We have lived her for next to 30 years and never can I say that we have received the quality of service that we received this evening. Not only was he personable, but payed very close attention to all of our needs, and with a smile on his face. And I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anyone work so hard In between customers, cleaning, restocking, the entire time we were there. ‘Thank you again Jason’, and we hope that you are Recognized for your attention and hard work as well!

I love this particular Dennys location BECAUSE of the Manager Cathy AND her staff! Brad and Jason are excellent cooks. The wait staff, Jason and Darren, are super awesome! Please support our local Marysville restaurants!
We eat here at least twice a week BECAUSE this is the BEST restaurant for comfort food in the Yuba/Sutter area! This is a franchise store so we are supporting a local business when we eat here. LOVE this Denny’s!
