I had a great experience at this Denny’s location. I ordered a burger and it came out cooked just right. The service was friendly and attentive. Alicia made sure everything was taken care of and checked in at the right time. Overall a solid meal and a comfortable visit. Would come back again.

Wasn’t busy but it still took about 10 minutes for the waitress to come to us. Food portions are very small and service was rushed and with a poor attitude except for one waiter. No refill on the coffee even after the waitress said she be back with coffee. My wife asked to doeak to a manager while paying. The manager was the waitress with the poor attitude. She made plenty of excuses and blamed the ither waiters. Finally she said, So.eine come charge this lasfy so she can leave and walked away. Not worth the price. I don’t recommend the San Luis Denny’s during breakfast hours. I don’t know if the other shifts are any better.

Came late at night after work and even though I was like 20 minutes before closing time, I felt kindly greeted and welcomed by Priscilla Huerta, she did a great job at both being my waitress and a cook at the same time! Service was amazing as well as the food.

I have been to this dennys 3x and the only thing keeping me going is the food. All three times we’re only given one drink with zero service past that. The kitchen staff constantly uses profanity in Spanish loudly to the point customers can hear and makes you quite uncomfortable during the eating experience. Receipts weren’t given this time and multiple tables had to go to the front to receive their final bill which took 3-5 minutes for someone to help you at the register. Restaurant was not full just workers pre occupied with headphones or gossip in the kitchen. Good food but horrible service.

The only service we received was the hostess walking us to our booth. It was not busy at 8am. The waitstaff were just standing around on phones and talking to each other. We waited for about 15 min for staff to take our drink orders, when no one came by we decided to take our money elsewhere.

I left this place very frustrated. The air conditioning has been out for a long time, and the heat inside is overwhelming. Even though the bathrooms were clean, they had a strong sewage smell and were just as hot, which made the visit very uncomfortable. It’s clear this isn’t a new problem, and management has chosen not to invest in proper repairs.
The coffee was another disappointment — not hot at all, and it arrived late because their machines weren’t working. While the food itself was decent and the staff tried to be quick, the poor conditions overshadowed everything.
The worst part was leaving. Out of four doors, only two actually worked, and one required an extreme amount of force just to open. There’s even a sign saying “Pull hard”, which is unacceptable — doors should never be this difficult to use.
Overall, until the owner decides to repair the AC, fix the bathrooms, replace the coffee machines, and make the doors functional, I cannot recommend this place. If you want a comfortable and enjoyable experience, it’s better to choose a different spot.

The food was ok, as expected from a Denny’s. The slamwich was good but the hashbrowns a bit dry. I was surprised the have alcoholic beverages available, a plus. Alicia, our server was awesome. She was very attentive and treated us like family.
