Our server Wendy was so pleasant! The food was adequate which is to be expected at Dennys. However this man that continued to micro manage the cooks, complain about everything, and not once speak to a single customer, made our visit very uncomfortable. I do hope this review reaches someone that can help him become a better boss. I feel sorry for the employees here. If he’s here again, we will simple go somewhere else.

This is my 3rd time going to the new Denny’s in Lewiston and the second time the service was terrible. This time I went in for my usually biscuits and gravy and a cup of coffee. Well the server said the biscuits and gravy was out when she came to take my order so I said I’ll just stick with my coffee. She seemed irrated that I didn’t want to order anything else on the menu but I was there for the biscuits and gravy oh well. Apparently since I ordered just coffee, she took it on herself not to refill my cup after it being empty for 20 plus minutes and her helping the 2 other customers came in since I was here and refilled there coffee and drinks already. 0/10 would not recommend the Lewiston Denny’s and to just head to Moscow if you want Denny’s or Spokane because Lewiston isnt up to the Denny’s standard I’ve been use to from stopping at Denny’s all over the country over the years hopefully they do better.

Would not recommend. The cooks could use a reminder of restaurant etiquette. There is no barrier so you can hear their full conversations, and they are incredibly rude to the female servers. They messed up 3 orders while I was sitting in and when the server clearly explained what needed to be changed and they blew her off and didn’t take responsibility. The order I received was a crime to call biscuits and gravy. The gravy was dry and flavorless, the biscuits were flat and hard, the sausage had no texture, taste, or bite, the eggs were soaked in cooking oil, and the bacon was flavorless?!? They were able to cook the mozzarella sticks, wings, and fries, but I would expect nothing less of a fry cook. If there are no changes made to the cooking line, this place will fail, and nobody wants that to happen.

We went in for after church brunch. First off the busser boy gave attitude about having to clean a dirty table we were being seated at, also doing a poor job and didn’t wipe off the salt and pepper which we found later were super greasy. Then, the waitress seamed to spend a short time with us finding out our drinks without bringing us waters, our food was mediocre, missing some ingredients and serving us burnt pancakes. Our service was mediocre my wife only got her cup of tea and no extra hot water like they usually do, never asked if I needed more coffee even though I left the empty creamers and coffee at the end of the table. Also noticed after we ate most of our food that the cooks had facial hair, one with a big beard and no net on them. Only tipped so we weren’t looking like we were disrespectful but was a bad eating experience.

Breakfast for four of us today. Over half of the booths were empty but after waiting for 5 minutes or longer, woman that had been yelling at kitchen staff, came over and told us that it would be 15-20 minutes or longer because they were short on servers. Lady in my group asked if we could just sit down in a booth to wait. We were told in no uncertain terms that there was no way that was happening. We were discussing leaving as more people were crowding into the tiny wait area taken up with rip off claw machines and a token machine. One bench only for 3 people that are friends.
A short time later, a very nice server, AMANDA, came over and took us to a booth. She was absolutely wonderful. Thank you Amanda. You were smiling and happy and friendly, not like the other servers. Food was good. Interesting that I ordered poached eggs and the cook sent Amanda to ask me if I wanted my poached eggs, over easy, over hard, or sunny side up. She was embarrassed to ask me because she also knew how poached eggs were supposed to be cooked. That was a new one on me.
Anyway, thank you Amanda for making our morning breakfast, a pleasant experience.

I was really hoping this Denny’s was going to be good, but sadly it was not. I ordered a brisket sandwich, absolutely awful. The meat was burnt so badly you could not chew it. I took 3 bites and couldn’t eat anymore. It gave a whole new meaning to burnt ends…yikes. My father-in-law never received his soup and had finished lunch before it was mentioned again. My hubby didn’t mind his burger, but said it wasn’t great. The manager only sat at his computer, complaining to the other workers. He could have made a better work environment had he at least just shut up. I felt sorry for the staff. I probably won’t go back, sadly. On a positive note, when I expressed it was the worst sandwich I had ever eaten, the waitress did tell the said manager and we got our meal for free.

There were 3 of us dining on 2/28/26. We lucked out and got Wendy as our waitress. She is so friendly and does her job well. The only negative thing I would have to say is we ordered 3 hamburgers and an order of nachos and it took over an hour to get our food. Once we got the food it was very good and again Wendy made it even more enjoyable.

We decided to give this a shot after hearing less than reviews but their server made it great! She said she’d recently started and her name was Amber. Our drinks and food came promptly, drinks stayed full & the conversation with her was fantastic. I hope we get her next time we go in! The food was decent, I had the chicken fried steak and my husband got the Super Bird. I took home leftovers. Thanks Amber!

Ok, got here at 8am, food came at 9am. Had to get my own silverware and drinks dinner cone till 8:35am. Had to get my own silverware. Asked for OM eggs got very runny OE eggs…the gravy was just water and flour unseasoned. I guess let them have a few weeks to work out the issues. Food is not good. I’m leaving my breakfast behind Also, my son paid $55 for that food we left behind.

Went to Dennys asked for a medium rare more to the rare side. Got a well done steak. Did not eat any of my food. Was not comped just recived a “oh sorry.” Well here’s your check. Won’t be back. Waitress was nice tho ♀️
