Denny’s seemed like a smart choice at three in the afternoon for coffee. There was only one table occupied and this lady was unhappy about slow service. When her order came out there was no mayo on the sandwich. The waiter then told her they were out and offered thousand island dressing. First, the waiter was aware they were out and second, how can a restaurant be out of mayonnaise??? Go to the store and buy some. Most employees hang out the back of the building. They had time.

Very clean establishment, well prepared food, pleasant attentive staff. Appropriate wait time between putting in our order to meal being delivered – this is not a fast food restaurant, you can enjoy a few minutes for conversation and relaxing before eating. Enjoyable atmosphere for kids, too.

Tool a while for the food I ordered to come out incorrectly. Didn’t get offered a straw for my water. Waiter never came and checked on me. Once check came stood in the front to pay for about 8 minutes even though staff made eye contact with me. The food itself was decent, but I have had better at other Denny’s. If I lived here or frequented this area I wouldn’t make it a habit of coming here

This restaurant doesn’t even deserve 1 star. This is the worst Denny’s I have ever been to. When you first walk in there is no one at the hostess counter and it is pretty dirty throughout the restaurant. We finally get seated and the hostess had to clear and clean the table before we could sit down. We stayed at the Quality Inn which is connected to the restaurant and were offered a free breakfast voucher for Denny’s. For that reason we weren’t even given any menus. What if we wanted to pay for a breakfast and get something different? Oh well, we all decided to keep it easy and get the free breakfast. We waited 15 minutes before the waitress came to our table and took our drink and food orders. Then, we waited another 15 minutes before we got our drinks. We were waiting forever it seemed for our food to come out and it never came. We saw the table right next to us get their food and they were seated after we were. The lady from the table asked the waitress where our food because we were seated before them. The waitress then turns to us and said, “We lost you order slip in the back and have made a new one.” We asked when our food would be out and the waitress said, “I don’t know”. Are you kidding me? First, I don’t even think she was going to make us aware of the lost ticket if the lady at the next table didn’t ask her where our food was. Second, how do you not know when the food will be out? Shouldn’t it be pushed to the front of the line and come out within 5 minutes?? We just got up and left the after the whole debacle. Someone needs to step up and take care of this place. I will never return to this Denny’s.

The whole staff was extremely rude tonight and we had very slow service even when not busy. We waited over 15 minutes for our waitress (Lara) to come back and take our order. She did not come back or refill our drinks when we asked her to. She was very unfriendly and appeared annoyed with having to be there and rude about answering our questions. This was not a good experience at all. Garbage and food was all over the floor, and was very dirty. The food was good, but that’s about it.

We often have late supper when we came to Ogallala. Denny’s is pretty much the only choice here for a sit down restaurant. In the past the service had been consistently bad and slow, but not this time. Wow what a huge improvement! The hostess and the server were attentive and nice. Food was cooked to perfection and served hot and quickly. Everything was great! The server said Denny’s is now under new management. Kudos to the management and staff!

The whole place smelled very odd. The bathrooms were nasty. The gals working stood at the front (right by our table) at bitched about work, life and everything. Very unprofessional. Food took forever and didn’t taste fresh. Our waitress disappeared after bringing us our food. We had to hunt her down to get the bill. There were only about 5 tables (about 15 people) occupied, so glad we didn’t stop when it was busy.

We had an amazing dining experience. On our way home from the lake we stopped for something to eat. It was late and we had a big group . We were seated right away and our server Ernest was very efficient and a lot of fun.We ordered a wide variety of menu items and everything was great. Thanks Ernest and the rest of the staff.

My waiter was very nice and good at his job, I got good service, the food on the other hand. I had the cheese steak it was ok I prefer the meat thinly sliced and there’s is thick chunks. What made it bad is there was a chunk of something about the size and shape and texture of a toe nail, which was my first thought but on closer inspection it was probably a dried piece of a stem. Anyways I lost my appetite,and was already 3/4 of the way through I just paid and left.
