A very nice restaurant. Food was good, and service excellent. Love the atmosphere. Huge lot out back for truckers to come eat, and park overnight. Also a brand new truck stop across the road, for fuel and other conveniences. Love it

Worst experience I have ever had at a Denny’s. Start with the restaurant was completely empty and still took 5 minutes to be seated. The young waitress was very nice and she promptly took our orders but that’s where it took me turn for the worst. Some of the food like the chicken tenders and my cheeseburger and fries were perfectly cooked but the tomatoes still had the hard part that nobody eats. The hash browns and sausage were burnt. After the waitress brought our food she disappeared and I had to get up to go get napkins and mayonnaise. I also had to flag her down to get a refill. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant but there’s no other options either in the middle of the night.

Honest review no bs…
They need to clean the bathrooms, it smells like pee every time I go in there. It’s like a gas station in there. It’s like the Wendy’s across the parking lot. Both bathrooms are in poor, stinky conditions. I don’t even let my son use the restroom in there no more, we wait to we get to the rest area 2 miles up the road.
Employees are nice, down to earth, and professional. The hash browns could be cooked less or cooked more, you gotta take it how it comes daily. Needs to be mopped because the floor is slippery in places like I’m at a dang on steak n shake in the early 2000’s. The menus aren’t always clean, the store shouldn’t have slippery floors where them old folks go in there and could possibly fall. Nor should they have a bathroom that compete against speedway gas station bathrooms. Minor issues, yet major flaws visiting there. They just need a manager to turn somethings around, put more focus on having the restaurant cleaner.
Good food, typical Denny’s menu items. Good staff, very kind, on top of anything you request.
That’s my honest review, I visit there every two weeks on the weekend, I’m from Louisville Ky. This ain’t me being a hater, I wouldn’t want anything to happen to that Denny’s or the staff, polite staff works there, and I like it, I like Denny’s. I’m just being honest.

Won’t go back there at all. The service was good, the waitress was very nice but the dishes were dirty and the food had been sitting for quite some time. There was a thick film over my biscuits and gravy. Needles to say, I didn’t eat. Everyone else who did ended up sick as soon as we got home or the next morning.

So this was my first time at denny’s in a long time. We decided to eat there before going to holiday world. At first the cook, that you could see in the kitchen, kept rubbing his face and sweat off of him. Then would continue picking up food with his hands. He wore no gloves which is against health regulations! The food was absolutely awful! I ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich with seasoned fries. I did not get ranch on my sandwich….It was so dry, where it pilled a layer off the roof of my mouth cause the bread was so hard and burnt! My partner’s eggs had butter sitting on the top of it melted! We were just hungry enough to eat what we could, and get the hell out of that place! I should have just went to the wendy’s next door. If we could get away with giving no stars, I would totally do that. But in order to make a comment I had to rate it something! The tables felt like they had a layer of grease on them and they were supposed to be cleaned, but felt dirty! Our server showed up late, and had to take over in an area that we were in,so everyone basically had to tell her again what we ordered. I think the main thing that bothered me the most, was the cook in the back, the fries and chicken that were fried. It was almost like they hadn’t cleaned the grease in a while. So it left a burnt film in your mouth! I have read other comments where they said they received burnt items. We basically have the same issue!

What’s that lovely smell? Why it’s Denny’s in Dale! Great efficient service. Good stop after church or after a late night at the bar with your pals… been there on both occasions many times. My kids and I make up songs about this place. So what the hell, bring your lunch pail to Denny’s in Dale!

I did an online to-go order. The order is in the photos, as well as what I received. Someone didn’t actually read the order. Beyond not getting what I wanted, the food itself was fine.

When I walked in to pickup my food, the hostess was taking care of another group. Once they finished, the hostess said wait one minute please. I said no problem, I’m just here for a to-go order. I waited 5-10 minutes before someone else came up, and was nice enough to get my order after taking care of other customers.

Maybe service is better for dine-in customers. I won’t have a chance to find out.

3 stars only because the food tasted ok, and they have truck parking.

Took over an hour to receive my order. I ordered the T bone steak with eggs and toast. Everything was cold to the touch. I sent the steak back, they came back with another one that appeared to be cooked, but once I made it to the middle of the steak it was undercooked.

The service was great with refilling my coffee, but everything else was bad.

Had hopes because there’s not a lot of restaurants here. First the hostess was nowhere to be found for at least 10 minutes and there were long lines of people trying to pay and others wanting to sit down ( lots of open booths.) The waitress was nice enough, but she should have recognized that the food she was serving was bad/wrong. The French toast was BURNT on the top, and the bottom was barely cooked. The “over medium ” eggs were runny, and I can’t handle runny eggs. She asked about the food and I asked for new eggs ( I never ask for food to be redone.) We confirmed how I wanted them, crispy brown on the outside ( even if the inside was hard.) She literally brought new eggs back within a couple of minutes, exactly as the previous eggs had been… white and runny!!! I pushed them aside and tried to chew the burnt French toast, could only stomach 1 1/2 of the tiny slices. She asked about the eggs again and I said they were wrong but I wasn’t dealing with it anymore. I had to also request more coffee and creamer… she brought the coffee, no creamer. She brought the check, didn’t deduct the cist of the eggs, let alone the surcharge for the eggs. Cost over $17 plus tip for 4 small strips of bacon, coffee and 1 1/2 slices of burnt French toast. They need new cooks… who allows burnt food and doesn’t know how to cook eggs?

If we go back, it definitely won’t be for breakfast. But if their cooks can’t make eggs and French toast, I doubt they can cook anything else.

Worst experience at a Dennys.. The server was beyond bad… Took order and never brought the food. We had to ask another girl to get it, and she did amazing, but we still had the same server… The food wasn’t prepared properly… idk that I will go back… The teak was supposed to be well done, and my food was very dry! Please see the pictures!!

**UPDATE**
We decided to give them another chance on a to go order. We couldn’t get through on the phone to find out it was off the hook and said it was an accident. Ok. Place the order, and it wasn’t correct. Then, he asked to speak to a manager where he asked about the dressing. We were told that’s how they do it here.. Thrown on a flat top with a bunch of oil crunchy on 1 side and not touched on the other.. There was no gravy on 1 side but was on the other.
