Server was great. We ordered the new brisket and Mac. It came out so burnt and was told that’s the way it’s supposed to come. I have never in my life ordered food and it come out so burnt and be told that it’s cooked correctly. Stopped in for a quick breakfast… And it was. The staff was nice and the place was clean. Enjoyed the southwest benedict with avocado and a side of fruit. The coffee was a mild roast and not to hot… Just right!

Stopped here about an hour ago, the cook Stopped us at the parking lot. Told us the other cook was 5-10 minutes out and that she was too tired to cook our meal. We came on over to Ocean Springs Dennys and no one here had a problem with serving us.

My boyfriend and I have gone to this restaurant about 4 times now and each time the service has been generally the same. We’ve had the same waitress most the time and we’ve noticed she always takes her sweet time doing each task. It takes her 10 minutes to get your drink order, another 10 to actually get it to you and to take the food order. I even noticed her do those with the family that sat behind us, I watched her sit them down and slowly walk off to play on her phone for a moment, talk to the other waiter, and “take care” of a few other customers before taking their drink order 13 minutes after they had already sat down. Today when we went they were out of 2 things we tried to order, and eventually we got passed on to the manager after waiting over 30 minutes (even though there was only 3 other people sitting down when we walked in) After waiting almost a complete hour, we finally received our heavily salty food and even had to ask for gravy that should’ve already been on the chicken fried steak. The chicken we had both ordered managed to be more salty than our crunchy seasoned fries. After all of this, the manager took off $4 and some change off our $40 bill. I hope if we choose to go again, that the waitress we had, Ashley, will show that she actually cares about the service she provides as well as the kitchen staff. I hope the food for the lunch/dinner menu tastes better, for whoever else chooses an item off it.
