We are people who frequently go to Denny’s I have to say this was probably one of if not the best ones, our server, Nichole was super friendly and accommodating, we have a lot of preferences and allergies and it can be somewhat difficult to get things right, this was perfect. The new manager also came out to see us, good luck on your new adventure!

So I picked up a load in Elkton Maryland and I stopped at the flying j in Northeast Maryland.
Which happens to have a Denny’s.
Which I happen to be obsessed with (Denny’s that is.)
So I couldn’t resist stopping in for t-bone which is my favorite.
Well as soon as I walk in a young lady acknowledges me and says I’ll be right with you.
I mentioned that because it is rare for me…(I have been left standing in the front of places, waiting to be seated for 20 minutes or so, with no acknowledgement.)
Also upon entering I noticed how well kept and clean and organized everything was. I pay close attention to detail I have a bit of OCD.
This young lady’s name was Mackenzie.
She was working by herself hosting, serving and cleaning.
That surprised me, because of how clean everything was and how attentive she was.
Now she made sure I had all the bells and whistles without even having to ask… extra napkins, French vanilla, refills on the coffee… she was great!!!
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better…I received my food.
Let me tell you!!!!
T-bone was perfect! Red skinned potatoes were just how I like them and the eggs were sooo good .
Come to find out it was a young man named Anton (18 yrs old), doing ALL of the cooking by himself.
I am a foodie and being a truck driver, I visit a lot of places over the road… particularly Denny’s or Country Pride.
I have to say within the last 10 years this is one of the best meals I’ve had.
This young man cooks better than people that have been at it longer than he’s been on this earth.
I am just grateful for an amazing experience.
I thank God for sending me that way…I truly enjoyed my meal and experience.

Good food but terrible service. It took forever to be seated and my order to be taken. The place is very big but not many people are eating. I ordered my food, and I heard that my order was up and the two waitresses just sat in a booth talking non-stop. The Chef had to yell at the waitress that the order was ready. I’ve been here before, but it’s gotten a lot worse. I won’t be eating here again. Also, while eating my same waitress was cleaning off the tables and slamming the plates together, not a great atmosphere to stop and eat and relax.

There is a waitress there named Carolyn. She is great. The other waitresses there should take lessons from her. I literally tip her when I come pick my orders up now the amount I would have tipped if I dined in.

Omg! Great start to the day! I recommend Store 875 (North East, md) to everyone! Breakfast with Jeffrey at Dennys was such a pleasure. Great guy. Great (warped) sense of humor as ours! Love him.

We went on 12/22/25. I wish I could have gave a five star for everything. But the food was quite greasy and cold and took forever to get when there wasn’t many people dining at all. The waitress was quite nice as the cashier person was as well. I’ve noticed over the years the menu has dwindled, and there’s not much to choose from on the dinner side. And for breakfast food, it seems a little expensive. Thankfully, there was only two of us and not a whole family.

We stopped here on a Wednesday around 4:30 p.m. There was plenty of parking available. There was a brief wait to be seated, as there weren’t many customers or servers at the time. The food was great and delivered to our table quickly. The stuffed french toast was delicious. Our server, Amanda S., was friendly and attentive. Overall, a good experience.

I don’t understand how a burger can be pink on the inside and still tough & chewy when you bite it. Ridiculous! And my fries were decorated with so much salt that they looked like churros! This place is a joke!

01/02/2026 Update: Google asked me to update this review. There’s not a lot to update. We went there and it was a low traffic time period. The service and food was great. An extra added bonus is that Denny’s gives AARP discounts. I dont know if thats applicable to all of their restaurants, but this location does.
06/04/2023 Update: Google asked me to update this review. No change. Still decent food and service and they got us seated quickly even though they were reasonably crowded.
The food came fast, it tasted great, and the waitress did a great job. What else can I say?
