This is an amazing place to eat. The food is fresh and very flavorful. Tried the lamb chops and prime rib dip, need I say more. Highly recommend! Staff was great, atmosphere was amazing, and surprisingly quite cozy. Will return many times for sure.

This is a favorite go to place in Edmonds. The food is fantastic, especially if you are GF and missing fried foods in your life. Their Firecracker shrimp is perfection. Crispy, savory, and the perfect amount of heat. Their fish and chips are delicious and the portions are big enough to share. Plus, who doesn’t love a piece of perfect chocolate torte? It happened to be my birthday so there’s a bit extra celebration involved. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. It’s always busy (because it’s delicious) so get there early or make a reservation.

Good experience but not perfect. My spicy garlic prawns ($18 appetizer) were not spicy (king of bland really). My steak in bistro steak and fritters was chewy. The rest of our party were reasonably happy with their dishes.

Great View, Mixed Food, and Loud Atmosphere
We recently visited Demetris Woodstone Taverna in Edmonds. The waterfront location is beautiful, and the ambiance is cozy, but the overall experience was a bit uneven.
We tried several dishes. The street corn with ricotta cheese bruschetta was the standout—absolutely delicious and full of flavor. However, the garlic fries were topped with raw, overpowering garlic, which made them hard to enjoy. The Maine lobster roll lacked seasoning, and the lamb burger was overly meaty and dense. The Mediterranean flatbread was decent but didn’t leave a lasting impression.
Service was friendly and attentive, but the noise level made it hard to hear both our server and each other, which took away from the dining experience.
Overall, Demetris has a great setting and some strong menu items, but the food was hit-or-miss and the loud environment made it less relaxing than we’d hoped.

I was very happily surprised by Dimitri’s Tavern! The decor is incredibly unique, creating a fun and memorable atmosphere. We were lucky to snag a last-minute reservation on a busy Friday night when the sun was out and everyone seemed to be looking for a spot. Despite the crowd, we were able to sit outside with the heaters on, which made for a cozy experience.
The place was packed, and our server was clearly overworked, so service was a bit slower, but we completely understood given how busy it was. That said, the food more than made up for it—everything was absolutely delicious. We started with the flatbread and roasted cauliflower, both of which I would highly recommend. The scallops and crab dip were fantastic, and the sliders were simply divine. I also tried the whiskey flight, which was a perfect choice for keeping warm.
One small downside is the train that passes by, but the view of the water still makes up for it. The restaurant is clean, the staff is super friendly, and the menu offers a wide variety of reasonably priced options. The only other thing to keep in mind is parking—it’s street parking, so you may need to hunt for a spot.

I was really looking forward to eating here as my favorite dishes are prime rib dip and clam chowder. Everything started great was seated promptly on a Saturday night with no reservation we sat on the patio which was nice. It took a bit to get our order placed but it being a Saturday night it was no big deal. I proceeded to order two starters a crab dip and a clam chowder Bowl along with my main course a prime rib dip and a lobster roll. That’s when everything went downhill after waiting to receive my starters I see the server approaching with my two main course items. With no starters in sight the server proceeds to ask what is wrong I said I have not received my starters yet. The server lets me cancel the appetizers since they were not delivered before my main course. As I was eating my dip I noticed a piece of paper or food on my plate that has not been properly washed so I lost my appetite. I was really looking forward to experiencing the restaurant but oh well things happen. There was a piece of hair on my plate as well but I cannot verify if it came from me or not. So we were only able to enjoy one of the four plates that we ordered.

Went with friends. Got a great table on patio for 6. Fast service. Friendly staff. My meal was really good. Had the steak bowl. The train went by about 5 times while we were eating. Impossible to talk during the 2-3 minutes it’s passing by. But it is what it is.

So glad we found this gem in such a stunning location. The vibe, views, and overall experience were fantastic. The drinks were spot on, and the Caprese flatbread was our favorite dish, fresh and flavorful. We also really enjoyed the firecracker shrimp and the halibut, both well prepared and delicious. The key lime pie for dessert was the perfect finish, with just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely going back again. I’d suggest going during the sunset.
