Constructive criticism: The food, especially the fish, tasted fine. The only issue was, it wasn’t warm anymore. I can understand if it’s not busy the food will stay on the buffet a while and cool. But heat lights would keep the food warm.
The atmosphere was pretty good, it was a little dark in there, so maybe some more lights would help. I know the building is for sale, so improving the business probably isn’t a top priority, but if anything, keep the food warm, and it’ll be okay.

We booked their banquet room a couple of months ago for a couples Christmas banquet. Later, I was told they were closing so I called to check on our reservation . The lady told me they were open and went on to talk about “rumors” and “you know how that goes….” I asked if there would be Christmas decorations and she told me there would be a tree.
Our banquet was last night and I cant express how disappointed we were! Not only was there no decorations, they only had a limited menu and the food that was on the buffet (which was horrible!)
Had I been told that yes, They were indeed selling , they would have a limited menu and only 1 cook and one waitress, I sure would have decided to go elsewhere! We even got a phone call yesterday afternoon (same day as the banquet) and we were never told any of this! We don’t live in the same town so we didnt know they were indeed closing!

Best deal in the area. very affordable all you can eat salad and food bar. Sit down and enjoy your meal with others. Full bar, nice staff. Best offer in a ten mile radius

My mother always said, ” If you can’t say something nice don’t say anything”. I’m going to have to not adhere this time. The food here is horrible. How can you screw up fried chicken and fried fish? Well, no flavor for one, greasy another, and the other items on the buffet were definitely neglected as well. Even my cocktail sucked. Just say no and go somewhere else.

I used to love this place,I remember when I was a kid and it was by dollar general in Jackson. I would ask to come here for my birthday every year! The last 3 times I’ve been here its disappointing and I keep giving them chances wanting it to be good but honestly…the food looked disgusting and had an odd smell to it that made me afraid to eat it. The buffet has no good options and to me the food looks like it’s been reheated and reused. I hate to see this place struggling to stay in business but…I understand why it is struggling.

Unfortunately, this is not a good buffet. The buffet had only a few meal options, and they were either cold or very dry and overcooked. It was easy to wonder when the last time the food was actually cooked and how many times the dishes have been reheated. Judging from the building being up for sale, I would guess they are going out of business soon. Also, around $35 for two people is outrageous for a bad buffet.

I have ate at Delmonico’s for over 21 years and this is the worst I have ever seen it!!!! The veggies were inedible!!!!! They left a wang and nasty taste in your mouth! We weren’t the only ones that complained!!!! I know that it is up for sale but that shouldn’t change the taste of the food. I was very disappointed!!!!!

Used to be a great buffet but it is just terrible now. Went to make a plate when we got there and the food looked like it had been sitting since they opened. I tried to politely tell the staff that we were not interested in eating here after seeing the state of their food and the owner got extremely pushy trying to make us feel bad about not wanting to eat.

My family of 5 went for dinner on a Sunday, we all got the buffet and couldn’t be more disappointed. Chicken pot pie over seasoned and, chicken and dumplings were just dumplings, the kettle beef almost had no taste, rolls and biscuits hard as a rock. The salad bar is lacking and the ranch dressing was definitely sour! Mashed potatoes cold. We went around 5 pm and there were still biscuits and bacon on the buffet from breakfast. The waitress rushed to plate my children’s food from the buffet which I thought extremely odd as they eat at buffets often and are more than capable of operating a pair of tongs without slinging food everywhere and at one point mentioned not wasting food to them at the buffet. They also were not unattended at any point at the buffet. That was a first for me and off putting to say the least. She was not rude about it but I would guess to say that statement trickled down from management. The amount I paid covered the cold food loss on our meal. Wild, the cost was insane for what we actually received. There’s a fine line between not wasting food and not throwing food away that’s already wasted and this place tip-toes that line. Things on the buffet were covered w/ old blackened pans I assume to keep them warm, it didn’t work, half of the food was still cold. The place was completely empty. My oldest son struggled to eat because of a sour smell he couldn’t shake the whole time we were there. Everything has a dingy feel to it like it hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. Even the buffet. I didn’t mention anything to the waitress or ask for a manager, it is not my job to tell them how to do theirs. If you aren’t checking your buffet, stirring, rotating food out, what are you doing in an empty restaurant? We all cook and eat, it’s clear to see food is turning by looking at it and it’s common sense that biscuits dont last all day on a buffet. I seen 1 employee the whole time I was there. This business appears as tho it’s been almost completely given up on. After eating here I read the reviews on Google and the way the business comments to skirt responsibility by excuse and redirecting by question is appalling. There’s a serious lack of accountability in the way this place is run! I am receiving no pay, perks, or benefits from my review.
