If you’re looking for Moonlight Beach Deli and dogs well this is kind of it… You see that place closed but this place supposedly has all the same sandwiches. The atmosphere from Moonlight Deli is completely gone and it’s kind of sad. I tested the turkey pesto sandwich and I can vouch that it tastes exactly like the sandwich you could get at Moonlight Beach Deli and dogs. So I had given that place five stars so this place gets four just because of atmosphere. The woman that works there told me that Moonlight Beach Del Deli closed because of a divorce in the business but that it was opened in a different location which I’ve not found yet.

Very delicious Cuban or Pesto sandwiches. I stop by this deli frequently since I commute through Encinitas at least a couple times a week. Last time I went to get another sandwiched they added frozen yogurt ice cream to their menu!! It was delilicious! I definitely recommend you try this place!

Came in to get some snacks and the attendant Justin was so helpful I walked out with plenty of snacks and a sandwich from the deli. The sandwich was great but the service was even better. He even told me I should come back during the day to try a hot sandwich as well. I will be back
