Walking downtown and have never tried Venezuelan food. For the amount of food you get compared to the price, it’s not worth it. It’s a bit too pricy for my taste. The service was great but the food lacked in taste. We had 4 small arepas with two drinks and paid $89. The beef was probably the best one. The rest were just not for me My only other issue is this is definitely a takeout or delivery option. There is no space here to eat and we chose to dine in, which was a mistake.

I’ve lived in Caracas for four years and missed the typical Venezuelan empanadas. I finally found them in Utah!
The chicken empanadas are my favorite, and the arepas are delicious. Thank you so much, Aymara, for sharing all the flavors of Venezuela with me.

I’ve been a customer of this business since 2021. The owners cook excellent food and provide excellent service. They’ve been growing step by step, and I congratulate them. Thank you for being in Salt Lake and offering us your pork and pineapple empanadas; they’re the best!

Ordered 1 small cheese arepa for $11 from the Delicius food truck. Then waited out in the sun and wind for 45 minutes (and it wasn’t just me – everyone’s orders were taking that long, everyone was upset). Once I finally got it I tried a few bites, and then threw the rest away. Wasn’t even good — definitely not worth the 45 minute wait. Just go somewhere else, this place truly isn’t worth it.

I did not read the reviews and went based on the average. Overpriced for what it is. You will find better places around for the same type of food.

I have a bit of experience with Venezuelan food (on account of dating a Venezuelan) and this has been the best venezuelan food I’ve had from a restaurant. The arepas are delicious, and they have all sorts of fillings to choose from (vegan and gluten free options as well). The empanadas are to DIE FOR! I have purchased them for other members of my family and they have loved them, as Venezuelan empanadas are generally savory and that was something they hadn’t tried. The desserts are awesome as well, with the tres leches being my favorite. I would recommend this place to newcomer’s to venezuelan food and those who are familiar alike!

Ordered an arepa at veg fest. It was a can of black beans on a corn patty. No cilantro, avocado, no toppings of any sort. $16 for a can of black beans is far too much.

Best empanadas in the city. This place is amazing. My wife and I grab a couple empanadas pepeadas every Friday afternoon. The tequeños are really good as well. Orders usually take 10-20 minutes, so don’t come here in a rush. It’s always worth the wait!
