We arrived at 7:30 pm to a pretty quiet restaurant. We were greeted and seated right away in a delightfully colourful restaurant. Chips and the most delicious salsa and beans arrived immediately. We had the most delicious burritos and chimichanga. The family was there and they had a good laugh with us as we enjoyed our dinner. Don’t miss this authentic Mexican meal!

Not good customer service, when we arrived it took a little time before the waitress came over. We let her know that we knew that it was late (7:30pm) and they close at 8pm and we did not want keep them later than that. She told us abruptly that we could get take out and handed us a couple of menus. There was no offer to seat us or offer chips, salsa and water while we waited for our to go order. We waited patiently by the front door for our order. When the order was finished I asked for some complimentary chips and salsa. They wanted to charge me $3.00 for that. I let them know I only wanted some chips and salsa to try, not an entire order. The complimentary chips and salsa were on all the reviews and the main reason that we went to this place. They did give us a small bag of chips and a small sample of salsa for no charge. The food was good, but the experience was not good. This is a family owned business that really needs to work on their customer service. We have our own restaurant business and if our employees treated our customers like this. Even just before closing I would be appalled and need to do a lot more training. The restaurant business is a customer service business. The food and the service is why customers come back. The service is the most important thing. It sets the mood for a good meal.

Passing by Bakercity, we stopped to have lunch. The food was DELICIOUS! Waitress was great and kept checking on us. Prices are reasonable and portions are filling. Definitely give this place a try if your in town!

Best salsa around. The Chili Relano was outstanding, the Chili Colorado was spectacular but the salsa was one of the best I have ever had. The Fish Tacos were also really good.

So disappointed. Ordered vegetable fajita and got a skillet of onions w a few peppers/tomatoes. No flavor beans and bland rice. I am not one to salt my food but this whole meal feels like the cook forgot any seasoning. Good margaritas.

Stopped in for a late lunch, the staff was kind and attentive. I ordered a tamale which was huge and had a great touch of spice (but wasn’t close to too spicy for me). I also had the vegetarian fajitas with the homemade corn tortillas and they were some of the best fajitas I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place if you’re ever in town.
