Came here with my mom. I ordered the chicken stew, they brought me a beef stew and refused to changed it to correct order. My mom ordered a hamburger, they brought her a cold patty with two buns, she had to ask for cheese, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, etc.). I got charged $16 for what was supposed to be a small chicken El pollo, my mom got charged $16 for a basic cold hamburger. The sodas are $4.50 each.

Service was terrible. Waitress refused to change my order, failed to acknowledge she took my order wrong. Waitress started throwing more temper as my mom started asking for more condiments for her burger.

Atmosphere is lovely, we most likely won’t come here again though. Have a good eating y’all.

We visited the restaurant around 10 a.m. on a Sunday as a family of five, including a toddler. Fortunately, they had high chairs available, and we were seated promptly without any wait.

The menu is straightforward and easy to navigate, and we can observed the kitchen while waiting for our food. The staff was actively engaged in their work, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere. The decor and music infused the space with a distinctly Mexican ambiance. While we waited, we were served complimentary chips and salsa.

For our appetizer, we ordered the chorizo cheese, which paired wonderfully with corn tortillas. The menudo was particularly impressive as well. Our food was served quickly and delicious. Our server was both attentive and efficient. Additionally, they provided a coloring page and crayons for our toddler. We will return!!

Plates any mortal man would struggle to consume. One thing I have always enjoyed about a traditional Mexicano Restaurant is the size of the plates. I spent a great morning with Buelo and Buela enjoying the music and food !

I am from Atlanta, Ga where we have many authentic Mexican restaurants inside and outside of the city. I was visiting Albuquerque and was taken to Delicias Cafe in hopes for a “home cooked meal.” I ordered las ‘enchiladas suizas’ and they were amazing! So flavorful and not dry. We also decided to try ‘tortitas de atún’ that came with a lentil soup and an amazing salsa aside. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 10/10 and definitely go back anytime I return to Albuquerque.

The hostess did not greet us at the entrance, she picked a table for us. When she brought our drinks she immediately asked if we were ready to order, when she never brought the menu. I found that very rude. The music in the kitchen was too loud, the chicken flautas were old and taste less without cheese, the women restroom’s were closed. At the end of our meal we asked for food to go, and the waitress brought a small paper bag. In fact the costumer service is awful. I personally don’t recommend this place.

I’ve eaten here twice now… and WOW. The moment you walk in, the smell is like a spell on your senses… imagine the cartoon scene when a ribbon of aroma makes it’s way across the room to your nose, and suddenly your lifted off the ground and your nose carries you to the source of deliciousness.
I’ve had the Sopes and Pozole. Both were dishes friends suggested… If I could just steep myself in that bowl of and soak in all the flavors. It was fresh and warm, and so flavorful.

This place is fantastic! I had the shredded beef taco plate and an order of sopapillas. Everything was seasoned perfectly. None of the elements on my dish were dry or mushy. The decor was stimulating and unique. The atmosphere was comfortable. The beef soup was absolutely tasty. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The sopapillas were perfect! It’s the kind of place you will end up craving later on. No, I am not paid for this review. I genuinely like this place! I just wanted to support a small local business and was pleasantly surprised.
I plan to tell my friends and bring my out-of-town guests here. ❤️ ❤️

The DELICIAS CAFE is almost hidden in a small shopping center at San Mateo and Osuna NE, but the authentic Mexican food is consistently fantastic for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is colorful and feels like you are visiting Mexico. You can see the open kitchen supercharged with busy cooks and rushing servers. Everything we ordered was delivered quickly and steaming hot from the kitchen – really great service! The food is amazing! The Deshebrada Plate was filled with grilled shredded beef, tomatoes, onions and jalapenos, and it was delightful, especially topped with eggs. The Enchiladas Suizas came with 3 enchiladas (chicken, in this case), rice, refried beans, and a side salad – everything was super tasty. The Enchiladas Verdes (with beef, rice, beans and egg) was equally mouthwatering, as was the side of beef stew (Caldo de Res) which had just the right balance of spices. And the Combo Plate of 2 Beef Flautas, Ground Beef Taco and Ground Beef Gordita was absolutely mind-blowing! Even the breakfast pancakes are large and thick, absolutely yummy with butter and syrup. Portions are quite big, and prices very reasonable. Very highly recommended.

I ordered the Al Pastor tacos with corn tortillas. Very tasty, they’re small but 5 comes with the order. Just the right amount. My family likes to come here when they decide to eat out. Definitely one of our go to spots for Mexican food.
