Delice et Chocolate is such a gem, and I am so grateful to have this amazing authentic French spot in Ardmore! Whenever I have a hankering for a delicious coffee and French pastry, this place delivers. Incredibly good pastries and cakes… the Piedmont cake (chocolate hazelnut), spinach-feta croissant, and almond croissant are my favorites. Yum yum yummy!

Truly scrumptious! Went with a friend to get some work done, and the atmosphere is perfect! We both ordered the Croque Monsieur and I also ordered a piece of fresh cake! Both were so fresh and tasted very homemade yet elevated.

Update on May 23, 2023. One of the rare coffee shops where getting work done and reading happens effortlessly. Cakes airy light, with delightful color chords, and thank goodness, NOT too sweet. Without a blinding dominance of sweetness, the subtle fruity flavors come through in a complex harmony.
I practically live in this cafe:-) Though it’s been around for less than two years, I can no longer imagine Ardmore without it. Or my life without it. No surprise that I can easily forgive the long wait time- why, the vibe is so good I just end up meeting new people while I wait, and just like that, waiting doesn’t feel like waiting anymore. I also look past the occasional not-so-beautifully-done cappuccinos. It will take a lot for me to downgrade this place from a full 5 star. Because this place makes me happy. When a place does that, it’s usually not because of it’s perfect. It takes quite some other secret sauce:-)

Was introduced to Delice & Chocolat at a recent art gallery holiday party. I’m hooked! Everything I tried tasted amazing. The desserts not only looked gorgeous but each melted in my mouth. The assorted cheese, meat, and wine pairings – perfection ! Look no further if you need to satisfy your sweet tooth or spoil your friends. I can’t wait to go to the new shop in Wayne to try more delights!

I visited today with my daughters and was very disappointed. The cold pumpkin spice chai was absolutely tasteless—just dirty ice water with no flavor at all. The hot pumpkin spice chai with almond milk was nothing like chai; it tasted like a cappuccino made with regular milk and gave me a tummy ache. The croissants were another letdown—not even close to real French croissants, just doughy and unpleasant. This place is seriously overrated and outrageously overpriced. We spent over $60 for 4 chai lattes and 6 croissants, which is a complete rip-off. Definitely not worth the price or the hype.

Excellent French croissants, very fresh, and delicious cakes, need to be there early for available selection. Soups, quiches are delicious. Needs a little interior update in the second room, seems like stuck in the remodeling stage.
