Driving by for years and always hearing good things we FINALLY tried D’Elias! We have been seriously missing out! It’s easy to find, location is nice and the place itself is very nice and super clean! The sandwiches are epic! A whole is as large as my forearm and I’m tall lol, 2 people could easily share even a half! The bread was wonderful! We ordered two different sandwiches and the bread was the same yet different on each one.
We got the Cuban and the bread was soft and sooooo delicious, the filling was substantial the cheese was really well melted and the ham was delicious! it was just a really good sandwich!
We also ordered the Cappicola I added cotto salami and red onion and it was fabulous, the seasonings and meats were a perfect combo, the bread on this sandwich was more toasty, the potato salad was a great addition.
You can’t beat the price and Monday-Thursday from 3-8 you get $2 off any whole sandwich.
The servers were very sweet, we were greeted as we walked in and helped right away.
I highly recommend coming here!
Oh they got me with a red velvet cupcake!! YUM!

I’m not sure what they’re smoking but Jesus dude look at my sandwich. I had it delivered via DoorDash and I’m not sure if they didn’t read properly or what but I paid a ton for the McPepperPounder. Jesus dude look at it. It looks like they poured gravel on it. Pure basalt. Volcanic rocks. Let’s say hypothetically I did order peppers, or extra peppers(which I didn’t btw). WHY THIS MANY? WHY A QUARTER OF YOUR JAR? Who in this world have you seen walk into your place and put THIS many peppers to the point you just throw 3000 years worth of volcanic rocks of pepper on my poor sandwich.

Ordered the all American sub very dry there was barely any meat on there it was all bread and lettuce. The bread is very hard so that made it taste even more dry we were hungry so we tried to finish hoping another bite would have a better taste until the lady cleaning the tables sprayed cleaner right on my table as we were eating and starting wiping it couldn’t finish after that

Nostalgic taste but hit or miss quality. It’s been ages since I’ve visited a D’Elia’s but it tastes just like I remember from college. My sandwich was great, just like I remember. But I ordered a turkey and cheese for my kids and was disappointed that there was so little turkey and zero cheese.

It’s not fancy nothing special about the service or the atmosphere but the food the bread … THE BREAD I tell ya man oh man …. (pauses a moment) the crispy flaky outside the soft tender inside the cold meat n cheeses with oil vinegar and a tad bit of red chili flakes is unmatched about 80% of the time I go to riverside I’m getting my Capicola most of the time if I have the extra coin I’m getting Xmeat Xcheese it’s one of the best subs out here !!

We got a large turkey sandwich and there was 2 thinly sliced pieces of turkey on the sandwich. Shocked that a $14 sandwich would have so little meat on it. Subway even gives more meat. Great flavor, but won’t be back due to the fact there was just 2 slices of turkey on a turkey sandwich.

If you want a sandwich that will remind you of the good ol’ days, this is the place. The sandwiches from D’Elia’s will remind you of the Great Depression. When they hand you your sandwich all wrapped up, you’ll feel like you hit the jackpot. When you unwrap it, you’ll feel like you’re eating at Aunt Ida’s house in 1930’s New York City. One slice of roast beef in a whole loaf of sourdough. I felt like I was being punked. All bread and lettuce, if you’re lucky maybe some meat.

What I ordered on Saturday the 13th could have been better. With a value of almost $19.00, I was disappointed with what I saw when I arrived at each. I asked to remove the chipotle so it wouldn’t be so spicy. I was not asked if I would like to substitute something, like onions or peppers. When I opened it, I found no more than two tablespoons of minced meat and some traces of cheese. Better open before leaving the place.

First time trying D’Elia’s Grinders. And let me tell you they make a bomb Grinder ( sandwich ). Got the Cali club ( turkey bacon avocado ) it was really good great bacon and avocado good cucumbers olives and The bread was super fresh and crisp. The macaroni salad was kinda good had a weird pickle taste. Not sure I would get it again. But I will definitely be back for more grinders
Way better than subway but not as good as Jersey Mike’s or Submarina

I’m second generation Italian, so I’ve had my fair share of good Italian subs. This is my first time here and i work close by so i was really excited, because original Italian deli’s are hard to find. I must say I’m disappointed, because the meats and ingredients were good, except the sandwich was ruined by the extremely dry bread. There shouldn’t be a reason why that hard a bread be served period. Either it’s stored improperly or just trying to save a buck, but I really hope it’s just a one-off because I’d like to give you guys another chance. Please let your staff know that in these expensive times, you really only get one shot to make a good first impression or lose a potential lifetime customer forever. Thanks. God bless.
