We’re a family owned small business with a passion for food and fun different dishes that are NOT generic. Originally from New Haven area, I’ve grown up in deli country and spent a lot of time learning the craft. If you’re looking for a hot or cold deli sandwich the way they used to be. Our grilled Reubens are out of control. Italian Combos are official, Don’t get me started on our Philly’s, they’re the best in a 50 mile radius. Gotta try it! We make our chicken cutlets everyday because they always sell out. Breaded and pan fried, our own Italian bread crumbs. They’re awesome. THIS DELI IS FOR PEOPLE IN THE KNOW. We don’t disappoint. Great old time atmosphere. Always rolling out new items. Come check us out, one time and you’re hooked!

Being from NYC and recently moving to southeast CT left me without a favorite sandwich spot until I was recommended deli fresh from a coworker. Since then I’ve been LITTERALLY addicted, I frequent this spot 3-5 times a week for lunch.
Grinders are top notch. Good selection of food, drink and deserts! Most fresh produce seems local sought and high quality meats to boot.

Seen this place on the road one morning and popped in for a snack. I’m not a fan of breakfast food so I got the spicy chicken sandwich and now I go every week. Just tried the mozzarella sticks too…also fire. The guy behind the counter is always super friendly, knows what I want and is always quick about it. Love this place.

Went 4 miles out of my way to come here today based on online reviews and so glad I did! Had a Boars Head Chicken sandwich on a HR with Swiss, Bacon, L,T,M and it was FANTASTIC! So fresh and carefully made to order. Generous serving of chicken and bacon 🙂 The gentleman behind the counter was so friendly and upbeat which I really appreciated. Will definitely be back!!! Fresh ingredients, home made meals, family owned. Don’t judge a book by its cover. We had the best sandwiches in the heart of Xpress Lane Food gas station. Must try and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Owners were friendly and kind.
