Went to Delhi 6 – Fremont with my family and had a really satisfying meal.
We ordered the Murg Shahi — Rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced without being too heavy.

The Goat Curry was also good — tender meat and full of authentic flavor. Paired it with garlic naan and butter naan which were fresh, soft, and perfect for the gravies.

Great comfort-style North Indian food and a nice family dinner spot. Will definitely be coming back!

Delhi 6, located on Argonaut Way in Fremont and formerly known as Nawabs Kitchen, is a solid destination for anyone looking for excellent Indian food in a comfortable setting. The restaurant delivers on flavor and quality, with dishes that feel well-prepared, balanced, and consistently satisfying. Whether you’re visiting for a casual dinner or a relaxed family meal, Delhi 6 offers a dependable and enjoyable dining experience.

The ambience is one of its strong points. The dining area is clean, spacious, and welcoming, making it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal rather than rushing through it. Service is attentive without being intrusive, which adds to the overall ease of dining here.

The standout dishes are clearly the malai tikka, biryani, and kofta. The malai tikka is rich, tender, and perfectly grilled, with a creamy marinade that enhances the flavor without overpowering it. The biryani is aromatic and well-spiced, with fragrant rice and generous portions of protein. The kofta is equally impressive—soft, flavorful, and paired with a well-balanced gravy that complements it beautifully.

Another practical advantage is the plenty of parking available, making visits hassle-free. Overall, Delhi 6 successfully builds on its legacy as Nawabs Kitchen and is well worth a visit for quality food, good ambience, and reliable execution.

This is a clean and cozy Indian restaurant that has taken over the previous Nawab Kitchen. The Amritsari Dal Makhni combo (as many have said) is delicious and creamy. And when I praised the taste, the lady server gave me more dal to taste! Good and polite service that makes your dining experience very good! The chai is also nice and hot!

This is my go-to comfort food spot. I’ve been here many times and almost always end up ordering from here after coming back from a trip. If I can’t decide where to eat, this is my default choice.

Must-try dishes: Amritsari Kulcha Chana and Chicken Malai Tikka for appetizers. For mains, the Prawns Masala, butter chicken with Garlic Naan is excellent, and both the Chicken Biryani and Mutton Biryani are consistently good.

Special mention to the Daal Makhani: it’s so rich and flavorful that you can enjoy it on its own without needing naan or rice.

Friendly, welcoming staff and great service. Always a satisfying experience.

Food was amazing! I ordered the Tandoori Fish as an appetizer, great flavor and perfectly cooked. The Garlic Naan is the best I’ve had in the area, and the Delhi Dabha Chicken is absolutely worth it, no words, definitely order. The Butter Chicken was delicious too. I highly recommend this place. Not sure why the reviews are bad, the chef is amazing

The food was absolutely delicious! The preparation felt authentic — just like something straight from Amritsar. We ordered Dal Makhani, Amritsari Kulcha, Chana Masala, and Chicken Rara — all of them were flavorful and perfectly cooked. The fresh tandoori breads complemented the dishes beautifully. The service was also polite and quick, unlike some restaurants where the servers can be cold. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

Didnt click many pictures, got busy relishing food

Update: Name changed from Nawab’s kitchen to Delhi6. Food and taste felt better, peas pulav or Jeera rice is now made with paneer, went amazingly with malai kofta.

Small place, got quick service on a weekday dinner.
Harabhara kebab was disappointing, it was like green paste. Dal makhani is more on the creemier side, and jeera rice with peas was good. Malai kofta was ghee-ish but tasted good, lacha paratha was nothing special. Butter naan was slightly over burnt.
A bit overpriced for what you get, both portio and taste.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food at Delhi 6. The flavors were distinct and truly authentic to the cuisine.

The veg kofta curry was delicious, with a perfect balance of softness and flavor.
It’s very rare to find good naan, but the naan and laccha paratha here were unparalleled compared to other restaurants around.

I would highly recommend this restaurant for both its food and hospitality.

I tried takeout from here on a rainy weekend.
I had the aloo tikki chat and the soya chap.
Both were so well made .
The tikkis were crispy and the chat was very well spiced . The sweet and little hotness from the spicy chutneys was really good.
The soya chap was done well as well. The chaap stir fried with the veggies and the sort of indo Chinese food was good.
Will definitely be back to try more stuff
