Small but busy delicious Italian spot. Apparently it’s the place to go for a birthday since there were 5 other birthdays besides my friends’ just while we were there. The prices are fair for such exceptional quality. I’ve been quite privileged with dinning experience in New England, New York, many states between the east and west coast. Having a high maintenance grandmother I wouldn’t refer her to just any place I’ve been and enjoyed but when she’s in the area looking for a good Italian restaurant THIS is where I would send her. The fried oysters were melt on your tongue perfectly balanced salty, briny, and fresh. The clam linguine was great. And the lobster ravioli that my friend ordered was devine. They really take their time with the quality of pasta here. Oh and also the olive oil they serve for dipping your bread is a great oil, it’s not some weak tasteless oil. It’s got a nice peppery note.

Excellent food. The server (young guy, don’t remember his name) was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Food delivery was timed well. A little loud. Not a complaint, just a fact. If you’re looking for intimately quiet, this is Not the place. We had a great time. I’d recommend dinning in, or take away. My canoli was awesome. My ravioli was simple, and super delicious.

The only complaint I have about this place is the size of the restaurant itself. The food, service and atmosphere were great. Best pork tenderloin I’ve ever had. They kept the bread and the drinks coming all night. Fantastic experience from beginning to end. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

The food was all very flavorful and quick. The service was great with our waiter being very kind and knowledgeable. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and found it romantic with the dimmed lighting. Love love love this place. All staff that serviced us were tremendously gracious and kind. Even better, the food was outstanding. Could I dare say this Italian food was even better than the north end? Of course, because it was. Take out the annoyance of finding parking in the north end, you’ll find it so easy to have a great night out at Delfino. I highly recommend the open faced ravioli. My goodness, it was heavenly.

Went here last night for my mother’s birthday dinner. The food was excellent and the service was great. This place is really small I recommend making reservations. I ordered the linguine with clams in a scampi sauce. The clams were cooked excellent and the sauce was flavorful and light.
