They are absolutely amazing. Being gluten free free send celiac this place took so much care and caution when making my bagel. Using all sanitized equipment and new never touched ingredients they prepared my bagel. Amazing taste as well! 1 million stars for this place.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning and it was pretty crowded, and I’m not totally sure why. Counter service only. I ordered a Jersey pork roll and a bialy with cream cheese. Let’s start with the bialy. It genuinely looked and tasted more like a plain bagel to me, so I’m left wondering if they got my order wrong or if they just don’t know how to make a bialy. The world may never know. I also specifically verified with the girl who took my order that it would be toasted, but the “bialy” was totally pale with no visible signs of browning or crispness. In fact it was toasted so briefly that by the time the cream cheese was applied and it was given to me, the whole thing just tasted soft and cold. The one positive is that they don’t skimp on the cream cheese. With regard to the pork roll, I’m just flummoxed as to why they would give scrambled eggs as the default when fried eggs are the standard. If I had known they were going to be scrambled I probably wouldn’t have even ordered it. The Kaiser also wasn’t anything to write home about, and the pork roll didn’t taste like it was grilled or fried at all, the whole sandwich had a microwaved softness to it that was totally underwhelming.

I haven’t had a bagel for a long time and then I went here. The bagels are so delicious. I will definitely stop here again. Also, I ordered 6 bagels that were so fresh and warm, just delicious. Great staff and there are table & chairs to dine it. There is street parking and plenty of free public parking spots in a lot across the street.

Love coming here – whenever I visit DeLand from the Northeast I try to come here for breakfast. Delicious, authentic bagel sandwiches. Took my mom here and she said it was the best one she’s ever had!!! Get cream cheese for your bagel sandwich too – it is awesome. Also really enjoy the coffee here!

I recently tried DeLand Bagel. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and was surprised and pleased with the low prices for the various options.
I chose the nova and cream cheese on a garlic bagel. I was very impressed with the fact they wrapped each half separately. Upon unwrapping, the food was visually appealing. The nova was fresh and there was a generous portion of cream cheese. The bagel was large and firm to the touch… perfect for holding everything together. Upon taking my first bite, the bagel had the perfect combination of a firm crust and a soft, tasty inside. The nova tasted as fresh as it looked, and the cream cheese had the perfect texture and taste.
I have been a devotee of bagels with nova and cream cheese for most of my life (75 years). I can confidently say that this was one of the best I have tasted in many years.
And I don’t want to overlook the fact that Darren and his team made me feel welcome. Their customer service is outstanding.
I am now hooked on DeLand Bagel and will return… on a regular basis.

Great place to have your bagel Fix. Good selection of bagels, staff was friendly and approachable.
They also gluten free bagels which it’s a plus.
Hubby got a bacon, egg and cheese bagel which was spot on. I got myself gluten free bagels to go. We are definitely coming back

My fair and honest review of DeLand Bagel. Overall 5 out of 5 stars.
Food: Our bagels were amazing, both cooked perfectly. I had a cremated Jalapeno Bagel with Jalapeno cream cheese. And my wife had an Asago Bagel with Bacon. Overall 5 star.
Service: Being our first time here, we were greeted and given time to check the menu and all the amazing bagels. We were given a great selection of options and the young lady helped us choose the perfect mix. Overall 5 star.
Atmosphere: While this is a small location, parking and table size are my only negatives. I personally feel the unique tables inside were just too large for the establishment, but this is my opinion only. While parking is off-street and community lots, this is still easily manageable in the morning. Overall 4 star.
By far, the best Bagels we have had in the area and cannot wait to try other options later on.

I am from Jersey, home of the bagels, yet deland bagels beats it to an extreme, their bagels are incredible, highly recommend their seasonal cream cheeses and their bacon egg and cheese!! My favorite breakfast to go to before classes or in general!

Darrin and Alyssa greeted me with big smiles and laughter. My first time here. I would come back again and again. I tried the French toast bagel with plain cream cheese. Darrin suggests maple syrup and cream cheese next time. Now I have another reason to return.
