A young lady came to my rescue. Food good workers great him has no manners. Tall Hispanic.
On my recent visit, Angelina, the employee taking our order, was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and professional (she could tell how excited we were to be there). When she asked if we wanted hot sauce, we happily said yes, and mentioned we’d need quite a few (around 20 packets) due to our large order for three people.
Unfortunately, this is where things went downhill.
The supervisor, Danielle, loudly and rudely instructed Angelina not to give us that many sauces, citing some policy. I explained that we were more than willing to pay for the extra sauce, because it’s genuinely one of the reasons we enjoy Del Taco so much. Danielle then told us they don’t sell their sauces. In disbelief, I even suggested charging us the price of an extra chicken burrito just so we could get enough sauce to enjoy our meal. She still refused.
Because of this, we ended up with far less sauce than we needed, and it genuinely ruined the meal. It’s frustrating and unacceptable that a customer who is willing to pay for something that costs the establishment minimally is denied—especially in such a dismissive, rude, and loud manner. The food was fine, but without the Del Inferno sauce we specifically came for, it simply wasn’t enjoyable. In fact, we didn’t finish the food, and proceeded to highlight this to Danielle (who replied that it wasnt her problem).
Sadly, due to the supervisor’s attitude (Danielle) and the management’s clear disregard for customer satisfaction, we will not be returning to this Del Taco location. It’s disappointing that something so small, and so easily fixable by having a charge for extra sauce, became the reason for such a negative and disappointing experience.
When I pulled up to the window, Jaime greets me with a smile and ensures my order is correct. It feels nice to see someone who cares about their job and the customers. The food is always fresh and tastes great, which is always a plus! Overall, I leave feeling satisfied not just with my meals, but also with the service. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by and hopefully you get to interact with Jaime, too!
11-26 they screw up again and wont answer there phone I want to speak to corporate this is ridiculous my bean cup is disgusting and burned and I have health issues not ok
And the worst part? They didn’t even add the extra cheese. It’s like, what did I even pay extra for?
To top it off, we specifically asked for Inferno and Scorcho sauce, and they only gave us two of each — for a full order and two people. Completely ridiculous.
Overcharged, underdelivered, and just sloppy service all around. Not okay.
