Young man at front counter was EXTREMELY courteous and the one in the drive through was as well. Clean restaurant and tasty food. It was our first time in a long time for my disband and the fist ever for me. We enjoyed it very much and even got a to go order to take back to our son in TN!

no hate to the workers. the customer service on the cashier and order-taking front is perfectly fine, about as good as a fast food restaurant wold have. it isnt their fault, im sure. but by god, please, if you’re going to come here because it’s cheaper, just save up for taco bell.
the food quality is mediocre, it’s 50/50 if it’ll come disastrously prepared or not, and i frequently find random ingredients in my food- like my girlfriend found a tomato in her bean and cheese burrito…???
the tomatoes here taste terrible every single time i come here, and for some reason the lettuce is always slimy as if it’s gone bad or is going bad, like baby carrots…
ive been coming here since it first opened, and i tolerated it for a while- honestly chalked it up to preparing the food weirdly. but it’s gotten progressively worse and worse everytime i’ve come here.
everytime i order something with tomatoes, the tomatoes have an alcoholic smell and taste and leaves an almost fish-like aftertaste in my mouth.

i dont get a stomachache when i eat anything else, even the chili, but ANYTHING that includes tomatoes tastes abysmal.

We were there on 1/3/26 at 2:15. An individual in our party had to use the women’s restroom. There was no toilet paper, no hand soap, and no paper towels. An employee was informed and the response was they knew about it but they were out of supplies. So why was the restroom not closed and were the employees properly able to wash their hands?

First bad experience here, but it is a full stop experience, and I’ll never return.
I always order vegetarian. Ordered a box with a customized vegetarian burrito, NO MEAT, I have a very serious intolerance to meat protein that usually requires medical care. There was chicken in my burrito. I immediately vomited twice and began to feel ill.
I took it back, and the employee who claimed to be a manager was indifferent and was not refunding my order. She said her screen said “add grilled chicken”, a blatant lie- which I pointed out, as I could see her screen AND my receipt. There was only a “grilled” option, which like other restaurants, means the tortilla is grilled or pressed. NO MENTION OF MEAT. I was nauseous standing there and had to use their restroom to vomit while she did nothing at all to resolve the issue and said she couldn’t refund the order.
No empathy, no professionalism, lied to me, and did not resolve the issue. I left very sick. I’m glad I carry my epipen. Had I consumed more of the burrito without realizing, this situation would have been very different.
The mistake could have been forgiven, but the way I was treated would need to improve to be bad. No regard for my experience at all. If you have an allergy or food intolerance, be careful with this place. You may end up sick, treated as if you are a waste of their time, and at a loss of money.
Do better, Del Taco. GMs, train your people better.

Cashier has a great sense of humor; very pleasant person. Cuisine was typical, excellent fast-Mex food. Del Taco is what Taco Bell USED to be. They still have tostadas, which TB foolishly discontinued. Also loved Del Taco’s shakes and Cinnamon Churros. One thing they could improve on is the atmospheric temperature inside. A little too chilly for me, but hey… everything else rocked.

This WAS the best well ran restaurant in Dalton, I am talking about all aspects. From the service, to the quickness and freshness. Ever since Quentin left, this place has dropped the ball. Big Time. And I will never give 0 stars. I know how much it can hurt a business. But Cmon man. Train Train Train your employees! I usually never give reviews out but I love Double Del and I want to keep coming back. Standards over everything team!
