I had a take out lunch at Del Sol’s Mexican Restaurant this week. It looks like a very popular place, lots of people arriving at 11am on Sunday. I ordered a vegetarian plate of cheese enchilada, bean burrito and rice with a side of refried beans for tomorrow. It was all delicious! Good sized portions of everything. I was not expecting chips and salsa in my bag, but I got those too. I have enjoyed eating at both Restaurante La Palma and Del Sol this week, but if I pass thru Laurel again, I will be eating here!

We loved our food. I ordered a chicken quesadilla with rice and beans. We were impressed with how quickly the food came out, however, we did eat at an irregular time (3pm) so it wasnt busy. Would have liked for our server to be a little friendlier, however, the speed of delivery and taste were great. Plenty of seating, music isn’t too loud. We’ll be back!

We picked this place because it was right across the street and it had great review. I totally see why the reviews are great. Juan Carlos was our waiter and is was great. The food was Super delicious and prices were outstanding. If we pass through here again we would totally stop again.

Driving west on Hwy 84 we decided to stop here based on the ratings and it did not disappoint.
I ordered the huge burrito (Burrito Monterey) which is the largest burrito I’ve ever seen. The wife ordered the Chimichanga “Del Sol” that had steak, chicken, and shrimp in it. We were both satisfied with our dinners. I managed to eat all of my dinner while the wife is bringing home at least half of hers.
We topped the meal off with flan and are now ready to continue westward.
Our server was very polite and helpful; a joy to deal with in this day and age.

We usually go here about once a month for dinner with relatives. It’s easy for us to meet up and they always have a seat available unless you go around dinner when they’re extremely busy. They have lots of birthday parties and stuff going on too. They have an excellent menu with plenty to choose from. At least they haven’t gone crazy with their prices yet. You get a lot of really good food for whatever you order. We always end up taking half of it home almost every time. Makes for a good lunch the next day. Always get great service. Meals come out relatively quick and always hot. Probably the best place in Laurel to eat IMHO.

Stopped here while on our way back from a road trip. I liked it. I ordered the burrito Guadalajara. It had grilled steak, chicken, shrimp, onions, and bell pepper covered in a cheese sauce. I mean what else do you need? Staff was friendly and they even helped fix our table that was really wobbly (I’m talking they flipped the table over and screwed in the missing table feet). Our waiter was a bit busy so he was a little slow to get our refills but he was really nice. I’d eat here again.

Fast friendly staff and service had to bring a lot of food home the plates are very generous and delicious prices are very good we ordered on the high end of the menu and they have prices for everyone definitely going back repeatedly for my Mexican food cravings.

Got referred to by a local. Best Mexican food I have ever had. I got the big Mexican Sampler. The brisket enchilada was the supper wonderful. I got this so that I could have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. But there was so much, it could be for 3 lunches!
