The food and service was great. Somehow I’m from Oklahoma and had never visited a Del Rancho so I was excited to try it. It has a classic diner style atmosphere and there are phones at each booth to call in your order.

Best food after floating the river, hands down. Every single time we visit Tahlequah to float down the Illinois river, we always stop in here after to get a bite to eat before heading home. It’s such a cute place. They offer dining in, carry out, and drive up (like sonic). They serve fry bread with honey, chicken, burgers, chicken fried steak and things of that sort. The staff are always super friendly here. A bonus is that if you are fresh off the river and look a little windblown (to say the least), you aren’t judged in here because every time we have been, there have been tons of individuals eating there who also came from a river trip!

Food was great, hot & fresh. Perfect for an after river float. My only problem was i couldn’t get the (very nice) waitress to understand that i wanted to order another cherry limeade lol. She was thinking i just wanted a free refill but i knew there were not refills on those i just wanted to order a whole new one to go…it was awkward so i just let it go lol. Overall a great experience and this location is very well run. Plan ahead & and order the large cherry limeade

Onion rings were a little bit oily, but burgers were good.

From the retro county decor to the “phone in” ordering system, this place is just fun. Breakfast served seven days a week until 11 a.m. Breakfast is great including my favorite Ranch Breakfast (pictured) which comes with a little of everything. Lunch/dinner is great and you have to try the “World Famous” Stake Sandwich Supreme.

Right now it is hard to get into and out of Del Rancho. I ordered a chicken fried Chicken supreme, waited, got to the window, paid and went on my way. When I got home and opened it, they gave me a chicken fried steak supreme. I absolutely CANNOT eat cubed steak (which is what chicken fried steak is made from) because of the texture. I was extremely disappointed that I purchased food and couldn’t eat it because THEY messed up the order. I was not about to drive all the way back into town and wait to get in there just for them to maybe take it back. Thankfully my dogs will eat anything.

This has been one of our favorite places for years. I love their catfish. It isn’t too salty and is tender and flaky. My mom always gets the chicken fried steak while my granddaughter loves the chicken sandwich.

Awesome place to eat. I’ve never been to a place that has a phone at your table for you to talk to the cook or waitress to give them your order. It’s so cool.

I had the famous steak sandwhich and it was delish! My wife had the beans and fry bread. The beans were standard and the fry bread was served as two pieces, fist sized. We were expecting what we were accustom to. We were expecting more flat. The side sald took us back to our home town favorite restarant. It tasted just like those salads from years ago.
