Everything was very good. Steaks were cooked to order. Swordfish was a little overdone, but still very flavorful. Desserts were good. Escargot was good and I loved having all of the garlic.
Our server was able to find a nice wine for my niece when she explained what she liked. ♥️
I would have liked to see additional explanations on portion size of the sides (I did ask and was glad because the sides were for sharing). We wouldn’t have been able to have more than one.
It was our first experience there and the first true steakhouse experience for my niece. I was hoping for a “wow” for her. She had a very good experience overall and was happy when we left.

Among all the fine dining establishments in Louisville that I have visited, Del Frisco stands out as the finest. The steak literally melted in my mouth, and the iced tea was the best I have ever tasted. The service was prompt and attentive. I will continue to patronize this restaurant whenever I desire a quality steak.

We had such an amazing dinner here for my niece’s birthday. The service from all of the staff was great, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was very nice. The dirty martini was probably the best I’ve had in the city. Our waiter Wade was super cool and attentive. We can’t wait to return!

The food was delicious. I had the New York Strip 16-18 ounce and that boy was everything but. My lady had the Salmon which was good at well. A bit pricey, but what do you expect from a fine dining establishment??

Meh…This isn’t the Del Frisco’s I remember from the St. Matthews location. Del Frisco’s in their previous location was decadent and the steaks were unmatched. Though it was much smaller and tucked away from the world, the food quality was far BETTER, the high-class steakhouse ambiance was BETTER, and the service was better. Maybe I’m living in the past, but ever since moving to Hurstbourne Lane, the quality of everything has decreased significantly and noticeably. I keep returning to this restaurant, expecting some of the magic of the Del Frisco’s of old, but it’s not happening here. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and would rather spend my money at High Stakes, Ruth’s Chris, Steak & Bourbon, Jeff Rubys etc. In my opinion, this restaurant used to compete with Morton’s steakhouse. This no longer holds true.

A large group of us gave Del Frisco’s a try for a double birthday dinner, and no one left disappointed or hungry!
Service was good and friendly, but sometimes a little slow to check in on us (which we didn’t mind too much as we were in no hurry).
The food was definitely the star of the visit. Amongst the table, we had several different menu options, from soups to salads and oysters to many different types of steaks. All were prepared perfectly and so flavorful. Several of us complimented our dinners with different sides, and not a one was a bad choice.
Expect to pay a little more than a run of the mill steakhouse, but the food is definitely worth it. If going on a date, the dinner for two looked like an amazing choice just by itself, or add a salad. For a single entree, any steak is a good choice (several had the filet trio and loved it), but the Filet tips with duchess potatoes looked like a great bang for your buck and were absolutely amazing. One last tip, the French Onion soup here had to be one of my top 3 “Best Ever!”

Sat at the bar and had amazing service and the bartender really did a great job making the drinks. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. I do believe this is a hidden gem that is sometimes overlooked but don’t sleep on this establishment. It’s been doing business in Louisville for over 40 years and I hope it always will.

Extremely underwhelmed with my visit for the price point vs other competitive options. The steaks were cooked to temp and had good flavor but the remainder of the sides we selected were subpar. Tossed salad looked like it came out of a premade bag and potatoes au gratin were okay at best. I received the wrong side dish which tells me there was not an expo verifying the dishes before leaving the kitchen that you would expect in a restaurant of this kind. Our waitress was happy to correct the mistake, however, the remade side was brought out by a different staff member and I watched it get taken to the wrong table. Overall just seemed unorganized and lacked the service/atmosphere you would expect. I will most likely not return.

I had an amazing experience at Del Frisco’s! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt upscale yet welcoming. The service was outstanding—attentive without being overbearing. The food was exceptional; everything was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The steak was tender and seasoned just right, and the sides were just as impressive. It definitely felt like a special night out, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.
