We had excellent Garlic Knots and beverages while we waited for our pizza to go. Knots were insane, crispy, tasty and the sauce was so so good! Wanted to add the pizza was the best! We had the vegetarian. Fresh veggies and the crust was thin and so crispy!

Visiting the area, I searched for pizza places, and Del Cerro Pizza & Beer came up. They’re fairly new–having just opened in December 2024, from what I understand. We ordered the Del Cerro’s Hot Honey Pizza, Backyard BBQ Pie, and Garlic Knots. Everything was amazing. I’ve been to a lot of pizza spots, and I believe their style is New York brick oven pizza. I can honestly say this is one of my favorite pizza places I’ve been to.
Aside from the food, “Z” (I’m assuming he’s the manager) was probably one of the nicest, most hospitable people I’ve ever met. He was the only one working when we came in, but still incredibly kind and welcoming.

We ordered pizzas for our annual Christmas party last night and everyone loved it! Sid and Nancy were so great at putting our order together and getting it ready on time to be picked up. It was just delicious. Everyone especially loved the hot honey pizza and the Barbecue Chicken pizza in addition to the regular pepperoni, Del Cerro supreme and sausage pizzas. I highly recommend this restaurant! We will definitely order from them again in the future!

This was my first visit to Del Cerro Pizza and it was a great one! The restaurant was clean, organized and welcoming. We ordered the Popeye pizza, the Del Cerro Supreme Pizza(not pictured), parmesan garlic wings, and the garlic knots. Everything was delicious. The wings were well seasoned, the knots were crispy and buttery, and the pizza had that classic thin crust New York style. There was so much flavor all around! Also, the staff here was really exceptional. Laura was helpful, friendly, and made this visit one to remember. I can’ wait to come back and try a different kind of pizza along with some dessert. Thanks again for a great meal!!!

The pizzas here are fantastic! While I personally prefer a crispier crust, these are made fresh with high-quality ingredients and always taste great. My go-to order is the hot honey with pepperoni and basil, absolutely delicious, though the other pizzas are excellent too.
Overall, this spot deserves 5 stars. They’re doing an outstanding job, and I can’t wait to try the wings next time!

First off( the service and staff are beyond friendly. Seems like a family joint and they are so welcoming and make great recommendations. Second and most importantly, I think this is the best pizza in SD. At least of this genre (like you can’t compare deep dish to NY style to Neapolitan and so on). I’d drive 30-45 min to eat this pizza it’s so great. Really chill environment and wouldn’t ever hesitate to recommend. I don’t even like buffalo sauce and this pizza was goddamn fire!!!

Came here with my family and we ordered the Del Cerro hot honey pizza. It was so good we had to order another one. Crispy yet still soft crust, cupping pepperonis, ricotta and , hot honey drizzles and fresh basil. They have beer on draft and bottles. Followed by some delicious tiramisu. It was a fantastic time and the staff were so friendly. I can’t wait to go back.

First time trying it and we loved it !! We ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza and it was delicious, one of the eats we have had. The ingredients are fresh, the pizza dough is so good my girlfriend who never eats the crust ate the whole thing! I wish I had taken a picture of the full pizza but we were hungry!

First impression is a clean store with an A health inspection rating on the window which is always a great sign.
The store if cleanly and organized, the atmosphere is welcoming with the lights and music set perfectly.
The staff is so friendly and knowledgable. They welcomed our questions and knew the menu like the back of their hand.
The food was incredible. Made with fresh ingredients right in front of us! And all of this without putting a dent in our pocket.
