This might be my new favorite place!
We had a large group and the staff were very accommodating to our group and helped us celebrate a birthday! Our waitress was very friendly and kind! The birria tacos were so good and very filling! Very generous portions. Everyone at the table loved their food.!

This was the best meal I’ve had in some time. Got the pork chile verde chorizo dip for an appetizer. Holy crap. It was so good. You could totally make that your meal and be completely happy. My wife and I shared the beef birria tacos and the cheesy pastor tacos. Also excellent. This place might have the best al pastor I’ve tried before. The birria was also excellent. Great service. Maybe a little bit of a wait to get the food, but it was well worth the wait. Seriously so good. Definitely a smaller area for smaller groups. But holy cow it’s so good. Excellent place if you’re looking for some great tacos.

I came for birria and got some pastor along with it.
Whoah. Top tier pastor, for real, it shocked me. The birria was amazing and I expected it to be based on what I heard, but the pastor knocked my socks off. Bonus that the tortilla chips are made in house and soooo good.

Wow…what a gem of a hole in the wall place…I highly recommend coming to this place…the barria tacos, pastor tacos, barria quesadillas, chips and dip are phenomenal…we had so many things…this is a place you shouldn’t miss… check out the photos… the only complaints I would have…it’s really noisy… because it’s packed…and their berry lemonade was a little weak…other than that amazing

The birria tacos are really good here. The parking sucks in the tiny little lot in the back. We didn’t get much service, we kept having to ask for everything, refills on drinks, chips, sauces, waters， napkins etc.

I knew I was in the right spot for real Mexican food when I walked in and noticed I was the only Caucasian in the building. Mexican breakfast is my favorite Mexican meal and so few places in SLC or Utah county actually do real Mexican food much less breakfast. So when I saw Del Barrio has a full breakfast menu I was in. Then when this burrito came out the size of a new born child I was in heaven. Speaking of heaven I’m pretty sure that’s where the tortillas are made. This isn’t yelp so I’m not going to write a novel about my experience here. I’m just going to say, come and eat here. Their food is awesome and the service is great as well. You won’t be sorry.

Family owned and operated, this place you can tell has every detailed tailor made with love. Everything down to the intimate atmosphere, to the cheery staff, to the amazingly curated food and ingredients, everything is well thought and handled with experience and care and made fresh!
The meat here is so unbelievably tender, and well seasoned so every bite is a delicious journey! The sauces! If you’ve read any have read any of my other reviews you know that I absolutely LOVE my sauces and the ones they have here have to be in house made because they are PERFECTION.
Delicious in house made horchata too! With amazing cheese on the dishes!

This place never disappoints! Some of the best & most authentic Mexican food in SLC. One of my fav places I’ve been on the west coast. I lived in sf for 13 years and this place outshines many of the places in the bay. The chile verde chorizo dip I could drink like soup
They also have a really good variety of vegan/ vegetarian options & tacos. I’m not vegan but I love the mushroom taco and I just get it without cheese (lactose intolerant girly here)
I probably come here at least once a month at least! Def a must try if you love authentic Mexican food esp their tacos!

Quaint and excellent from top to bottom. Number one nachos so far in Utah. Our waitress was top-notch and everybody friendly. Definitely be back soon.
