First, everything is made from scratch. The cheese sticks are rolled in pretzels that they grind fresh for each order. I had the tuna salad with homemade dressing and get this, it was in a bread bowl! All their salads are and the make them fresh. It was amazing! He got the cod sandwich which was actually 2 sandwiches and each had 2 pieces of beer battered fish. The server was very nice and attentive. Parking is on street or there are a few spots around back. You can view their menu on line the also have lent features. They open at 4 on Saturday so we went around 4:30. Glad we did because by the time we left, it was filling up. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back♥️
My son and I came for dinner. Service was not great. We didn’t know if it We were to seat ourselves or wait to.bw seated. There was no sign, and no one acknowledged use for 4 minutes when we were just standing by the door. The bartender finally acknowledged us and told us to just pick a seat on the other side of the bar, and also gestured that we could go upstairs too. We opted to sit a a table on the other side of the bar.
Once seated, again no one acknowledged us for over 5 minutes. We just awkwardly sat there. Once acknowledged, they just dropped the menus and mentioned nothing about the Restaurant Week menu. We had to specifically ask for it. Once we got the menu, it went quickly from there.
Started with the seared tuna. Fan-freaking-tastic. 10/10 would highly recommend. I had the chicken marsala. It was not great. Instead of a creamy mushroom sauce, it was maybe more of a bourbon mushroom glaze. It was not what I expected. My son had the marry-me-chicken. He said it was too salty and had an overwhelming amount of sun-dried tomatoes. He picked through and ate the chicken and some of the pasta out.
Would not choose to go back for a nice dinner. Maybe for a sandwich or a burger plus a beer.
