What started off as a good start to our meal sadly did not end that way. The Beer Pretzel with Beer Cheese was delicious. A pretzel with a crispy exterior ropped with salt and a soft pillowy center made this the perfect way to start our meal. Then the Big Tex burger arrived, which was topped with a Texas Twinkie. This was a jalapeño pepper stuffed with brisket and cream cheese and then wrapped in bacon. Divine. After that, the meal wasn’t close to being delicious. The drink orders were mixed up. my wife ordered all of the toppings for her homemade chips meal, but none of the toppings were in the meal and plate, my meal was misding the fries I ordered and some of the brisket had grizzle. My son’s Mac Bowl with Chicken wasn’t good at all. The macaroni was wet and had barely any cheese on it. The corn cakes, included with the Mac Bowl meal was okay. A nice crispy exterior, but they were greasy. This was very unfortunate but could have been avoided.

I placed an order for right after opening on this cold Monday morning, and when I walked in my order was ready and waiting for me. I was offered more sauces if needed. Ordering on their website was simple, and I received a response immediately. Excellent food and Excellent Service!
I didn’t rate the atmosphere because it was a takeout order. I commend the Deez Butts staff for opening up on this cold Monday morning! I also thank them for opening this location at ECTC, it is great for students and staff to have quality local food with reasonable prices!

Stopped at Deez Butts wanting some brisket. Ordered the brisket plate with greens and cabbage and polish sausage. The brisket was came in larger cubes and were a little dry as if they had been reheated and/or had been cut up earlier and left under a warmer. There were only two thin slices of sausage in with the cabbage.

I definitely would return.

Traveling the BG and decided to pull off when we saw the sign. There were tons of awards in the windows so we thought it was gonna be good. We were sadly mistaken. Baked potato was hard and didn’t seem to be cooked all the way. Mac n cheese was dry and had no flavor/taste. Pulled pork was dry. Brisket was just a pile of fat ends
Spend $80+ on 4 meals and none of us enjoyed it.

Will say the Banana pudding was delicious though

We ordered 2 pork sandwiches, one with waffle fries and the other Mac n cheese. Also, an order of fried pickles. The fried pickles were the best part of the meal. The Mac n cheese was OK. My wife said the fries were “just OK and like the the ones from the bottom of the bag.” What should’ve been the star of the show was the pork. It was not. Have you ever cooked a roast on Sunday and then on Tuesday decided you wanted to make a sandwich out of the leftovers? The meat is brittle and dry, right? That’s what this was like. Dried out. It’s really hard to say what the meat tasted like because you had to smother it on sauce to make it edible. (The sauce is pretty good.) That’s not good barbecue. We are here on vacation for 10 days, today being the last full day, and this was by far the worst meal we’ve had on the trip. Maybe, if you are lucky, and you are there when the meat is fresh (whatever day that is), then it may be great. If not, then avoid it. There has to be better out there than this.

I had the pulled pork, it had a good flavor and very moist. However the sauce is not made in house. The beans had a good flavor but were cold. I really liked the corn cakes ! And you can’t go wrong with waffle fries.

Absolutely love the hole in the whole vibe small town bbq joint feeling! That’s how you know the foods good in my opinion i tried the build a spud with melt in your mouth brisket on top drizzled with Deez Butt’s Hot Sauce ( which is made in house) Service was fast & friendly from the meet and greet walk in to being seated & ordering!! Definitely a hidden gem to check out if you haven’t! Will definitely be back to try more

We stopped by on the way home from an adventure, my wife got pulled pork, a salad and homemade chips. I I got the spud with chicken. The mild sauce was delicious. In fact, it was so good we bought some to take home. Our waitress was delightful. The restaurant was clean. Service was awesome and the sweet tea was delicious.
