Grat New Deli by Oakland University. Homemade soups, I tried the split pea, and it was excellent. Fresh corned, beef and pastrami from Eastern market… I was also talking to the owner, super nice guy, he said they bake most of their own bread for the sandwiches too. Nice to have an independent non-chained restaurant in this area!

Just tried this place today. Wanted an Italian sub so I googled “deli near me” and this place popped up. Apparently they haven’t been in business long. Ordered the grizzly grinder.. it was really freaking good! Sandwich is huge! Got the potato salad as well. Best potato salad I’ve had outside of my own ☺️

Wow, SO glad we found this place! Didn’t even realize it was new but we’ve been going to Cityscape for years. Love this menu! Excellent quality meats and ingredients. Cool vibe. We got the Chefs Kiss and Golden Grizzly. Both were great but Chefs Kiss wins. 🙂 We’ll definitely be back!

I came in for a sandwich at lunch and ordered the Squirrel stacker combo, the sandwich was great, the pickle tasted homemade and I was impressed by the inside of the restaurant. It was clean, the staff was very friendly and the space had excellent lighting and ambiance. I will certainly be back to visit and recommend anyone who hasn’t tried it to get there ASAP!

Bill gave me some recommendations and I ended up going with the #12 – chefs kiss. I have to say it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Got to try the potato and macaroni salad, both were good, but the macaroni salad had too much onion, for me! The owners Jackie and Bill were very nice and welcoming. I’m definitely going back, can’t wait to try some other stuff.

Anyone who is questioning whether to try out this business, question no more! My first time experience was more than customer care, but one of genuine connection. From the atmosphere to the service, it was a breath of fresh air. It only helps that my food was phenomenal. More specifically, the #1 corned beef combo with a choice of flavorful beef soup. The owners and staff were friendly, interactive, and wildly personable. I encourage anyone who may be on the fence about visiting to come on through, bring a friend, and enjoy the atmosphere! It’s one you won’t want to leave quickly.

Had the number 1 on their amazing rye bread. Chicken noodle soup was perfect on a cold day as well as the chili. Staff and owner were so kind and passionate about their food. We have been going to cityscape in west Bloomfield for decades and to have another location owned by the same family and honoring their past in this part of town is amazing! Can’t wait to go back!!
