Nice small town Iowa restaurant downtown Manning. Same owner since 1994. Bacon cheeseburger ($6.75) good.

Food was awesome. We had tenderloin. It was so big I only eat 1/4 of it my husband ate the rest.
Love the breading, it was juicy and very thick. Highly recommend.

What a gem! Cozy, local restaurant with delicious traditional foods, but be sure to check out their breaded tenderloin — it’s better than any others I’ve tried — it’s huge! Enough for two sandwiches (cut mine in half and had two meals from it!) served on a fresh yeast bun. The home-made pies are wonderful, and so is the staff. This was my first visit and I’ll definitely be back next time I travel through the area.

My wife had the pizza burger, I had the dbl chzburger with fries, and we both had drinks. The combo came out on a 14″ dinner plate, and both were excellent. The cost was nominal for what we had. $16.79

Delicious food! Nice small town diner. The cheeseburger was SO good! And the breaded pork was pretty good, too. Very fair pricing. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going here since I was a little girl, every time I’m in town I have to eat here at least once. Cozy place, comfort food, excellent cheese balls, and it’s always a contest to see who can finish the delicious tenderloin “sandwich”. I love it.

Food is great for the hometown experience and for the price..

This is the place for friendly service. The staff does a great job of making you feel welcome and the service is quick. The food is OK but nothing to write home about. But, if you’re after a relaxing breakfast in a classic small town diner, you won’t be disappointed.

I love the Corner Cafe’. It is a piece of Manning history, and I am THRILLED that they have restored the historic painted Coca-Cola billboard on the exterior brick structure. It alone is worth the trip to Manning, Iowa.
But it has to step up its game. The interior, which was once a delightful step back in time, is now just looking dated and sad. There is an orange drop cord threaded along the wainscoting behind the built-in, dark wooden booths. I don’t know what it powers, but I am not even sure it’s code.
Had a good patty melt, but you can get a good patty melt anywhere – except for Manning. And that may be the issue.
Aside from Cliff’s Tavern across the street, which has done a much better job staying attractive to outsiders as it continues to be a local and regional meet-up, The Corner Cafe’ has little to no competition in an otherwise vibrant and forward-thinking community that trades successfully on its heritage while embracing the future.
I want Deb’s to be there for years to come, and continue to embrace its own history, which is deep, rich and foundational to the community.
AND I also want a good, well-cooked meal, served efficiently and well in a clean and welcoming environment.
The two are not mutually exclusive.

Food is always great. Prices never disappoint. Wish breakfast was served all day, but the owner and staff are amazing. If you’re from the area you’re sure to meet a familiar face when you visit
