I really like this place the flavor is unique, not something that would wow you but a great culinary experience nonetheless! The staff especially Ajani was great! There were ton of delivery orders when we were there and I hope
People consider dine-in options. Good place for a mid to large group.

Loved the food it’s was so good, everything we ordered tasted super delicious. I tired many Indian places before but by far this is our families favorite. The service was excellent as well, we were treated with such care and kindness. Highly recommend people to come eat here.

If I could give this location 500000 stars I would. Its one of my favorite restaurants in NYC and by far the best Indian restaurant I have had. I order the Paneer Tikka Masala and Naan a lot, its so flavorful, delicious, well balanced, authentic and unique. You can tell the people who make it put a lot of attention and care to it, and its done right, with time so the flavors are perfect. I cannot say one negative thing.
The staff is always welcoming, kind and happy and I just love this place.
I will be bringing friends, family and recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We ordered a door dash order on our first night in Brooklyn to the Aura hotel the delivery was smooth and the food was awesome I could not get enough of the coconut rice I was full but kept eating it. It was perfect with the mulligatawny soup and my husband loved the bone in goat biryani. ( I’m not just doing this from memory I kept the receipt so I can order the same thing again when I come back to NY see you soon )

We arrived late at De Tandoori Knight in Brooklyn, NY, but the staff graciously kept our reservation. Their patience and welcoming demeanor were immediately apparent. The service was exceptional—friendly and attentive. They tailored the spice levels to our preferences and were very accommodating of my son’s nut allergy. The food was outstanding and authentically captured the flavors of Indian and Pakistani cuisine. I highly recommend De Tandoori Knight to anyone in town seeking a genuine dining experience.

Really really good food!
Good food portions. The taste is also on spot! It’s not spicy which is great.
The place is run by two people only so food might take a minute to come but worth the wait

Great takeout spot and some of the best casual Indian food I’ve had in NYC. Great selection of dairy free curry that’s not so hard on the stomach. I’m a regular and they’ve never missed, can’t say enough great things about this place!

I regularly order takeaway from here, and it’s consistently excellent. The food is always flavorful and fresh – rich, aromatic curries, perfectly cooked rice, and tender meats full of authentic spice. The portions are super generous and the service is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious, well-made Indian food – definitely one of my go-to spots!

I tried:
– aloo gobi
– Malai kofta
– Veg biryani
– Cheese garlic naan
– Gobi Manchurian
I usually have high expectations from Indian restaurants and this spot lives up. The flavors were homely and rich. Personal fave was the malai kofta and the biryani. Portion sizes are great and so is the price. Tucked away under Williamsburg bridge, low key spot but don’t sleep on it
